Pros +
- Nothing to salvage from this hotel experience. Uncomfortable room, hard to access, and the rudest most unwelcoming staff.
- It was ruined by the toxic mould
- It was clean and cheap.
Cons -
- They are not client oriented, really terrible customer service, staff is thirsty for money and will take advantage of any opportunity they get to scam you. They gave me the wrong room and they charged my mother for 3 nights when she only stayed 1.
- We had what can only be described as a truly awful experience at this hotel. Upon check in the staff were very friendly and helpful but made no mention of the mould in the building. Upon entering our room for the first time we were confronted with what can only be described as a rancid smell, it was quite clear the hotel had a huge mould problem. The putrid smell was so strong as to make us feel physically ill. We immediately checked online and found the hotel fully booked so figured we would have to put up with it. This meant that we needed to leave all windows open at all times which in the cordoba heat meant letting the 42 degree hot winds into our room. This made sleeping unbearable and uncomfortable.Further to this there were some additional minor issues, such as the fact that all street noises could be easily heard in the bedroom even after closing the windows late at night to try and sleep. The towel rail was positioned directly above the bidet. The glass shelf in the shower was placed at eye level in a quite dangerous position instead of in a corner of the shower that was out of the way. The provided table was so tiny as to be completely useless, barely wider than my open hand.At 7am on the Monday morning we were woken by the sound of extremely loud machinery and tools. When talking to the workmen they informed us they had been booked for the urgent repair of the mould that was throughout the building. When speaking to reception they commented that they were well aware of the issue. Because we made the booking through booking.com they were unable to offer a refund and instead offered us a free breakfast which I felt was honestly offensive. We feel that the property was not as advertised and the mould issue was so bad as to be a serious health risk. My wife has left feeling unwell with allergies and I’ve had a headache for 24 hours.
- There was no heat in the bathroom, so it was freezing especially with a tiled floor and the internet didn’t work in our room.

There was no heat in the bathroom, so it was freezing especially with a tiled floor and the internet didn’t work in our room.
Great location. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with great recommendations for how to spend my 1.5 days in Cordoba including both the “must see” sites as well as some off-the-beaten path spots.
Very small with no room to put my suitcase other than the floor. It was a step up from a hostel - but just a step. Room was fine, but it was hard to pay $109 for something so basic. I wasn’t in Cordoba for a fancy hotel stay, though. The room had little bearing on my experience in this magical place; the location of Vitium made it so easy to do everything I wanted to do.
Location is unbeatable. Right in the downtown steps away from the main landmarks. The staff was friendly and they gave us great suggestions for restaurants nearby.
The air conditioner kept making strange noises.
Excellent breakfast. Quiet room. AC working. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking to all main sites. Close to river. Fridge in room, working safe. Roof terrace.
Smallish room
Excellent staff, clean rooms and facilities, perfect AC unit, and option to store luggage if you check out early. The hotel was better than expected and there is another one in Madrid as well, so I will be using the 10% coupon this hotel gave me for that hotel one day.
No complaints on this one.
Very good location, near all of the attractionsHelpful staffReally big and clean roomVery big and comfortable bed
There was only one small window, no natural light, but it was shown in the photos, so not complaining, only mentioning
Miguel at the front desk was excellent, very friendly and professional. He helped us when trying to access the property due to the Feria de Cordoba activities.
I wished they let us know on time that we couldn't get to the hotel and parking due to the closure of the Old Town, I had to park the car far away (20 EU) and take taxi (13 EU) to get to the hotel.
We liked the room, it was very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and shared some recommendations.
Even though the location was very convenient and in walking distance from the main attractions, we were not informed of the restrictions to move around via car in old town, and we risked getting fined.
The location was excellent, so close to Mosque/Cathedral, and close to supermarket. Reception staff very helpful. The room was very clean.
I think a new mattress is needed, it slumped and I woke up with a sore back.
Perfect central location . The room was basic but comfortable, Miguel on reception was really attentive and took time to go through the map of Cordoba and gave us insights on all the key areas and some local tips too. Really friendly place.
Everything was perfect.
The staff we met were excellent and special mention must go to Miguel the evening receptionist who was really great.
There could of been two small bedside tables, there is room for them and they are not expensive.
Right in the heart of the historic centre, perfectly located. Exceptionally clean and great breakfast. The BIG PLUS was the staff who were exceptional. A BIG shout out for Juan Carlos on reception. As a solo traveller, he really looked after me with a lot of care and was extremely kind and welcoming, which was fantastic.Thank you so much.I can highly recommend this wonderful hotel.
Very clean and comfortable, good location for sightseeing. Quiet for sleeping. Staff very personable and helpful.Breakfast good.
Staff very friendly and welcoming, perfect location, room comfortable and clean.
The location, the lovely clean bathrooms, having my own private space, the communal kitchen and of course the staff.
Very thin walls which meant you could hear literally everything, beds were quite narrow as well but that's because the pods are so small!
Perfect one night stay for the end of our Spanish adventure! Very kind and helpful staff! Beds were really comfy, the location couldn't be better! We highly recommend! Also a big plus that guests are allowed to leave their luggage after check out.
Superb location - right in the heart of the old town, and very close to the Mezquita. The room was a good size and the bathroom was too. It is a small hotel and the very friendly owners made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was very good. The rooftop patio was charming, and made for a cosy spot to sit and read.
The receptionist was fantastic, he gave us some great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location was brilliant. The room (delux double) was large and bright and looked great.
Sadly, after a few hours and the smell of cleaning had worn off, the smell of drains from the bathroom was very strong. The bed was also uncomfortable, worn and dipped which gave me and my partner back ache.
