Friendly owners. They gave us good ideas to help us enjoy Cordoba.We liked the authentic historic guest house. We liked Carmen and victor a lot.

The weather was very cold, and it was difficult to warm up the room. The courtyard which would have been lovely in summer, was not welcoming in the winter.

Beautiful hotel, converted ancient building. Very friendly, clean, aesthetic. A bit away from centre but no problem if you like a bit if a walk. Slightly hard bed but not a problem. Overall a treat!

Palacio de los Angulo hotel is beautiful, has an excellent location, and Victor and Carmen are wonderful hosts. Staying with them feels like spending the weekend with family who happen to live in a palace with roman columns and a palm tree filled courtyard.

What a beautiful Palacio matched only by the warmth of the welcome and depth of knowledge of our hosts, Victor and Carmen. We loved the courtyard with its ancient columns and arches. Our bed was so comfortable and vast that at the end of the day, we just fell into it for a quiet and undisturbed night’s sleep. The local shops and hostelries provided us with breakfast and Carmen’s recommendations for aperitifs and dinner were just exactly what we needed at the end of the day.

Carmen & Victor's exquisite villa, situated in the center of the ancient section of Córdoba is an oasis. They immediately made us feel like we were family. Our terraced room looked over their central garden courtyard. Everything worth seeing was in walking distance. Carmen reccomended wonderful local bistro s without tourists, set us up with horse shows and Flamenco dancing. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Christine & Tom Brooklyn, NY

The atmosphere! A city palace, partly from ancient times. Just outside the crowded area, so: quiet. The friendly owners are still working on their project, and want to turn it into a cultural spot. Do not expect a modern hotel with career managers. Expect a lovely patio behind a big wooden gate, a privately owned villa with a stylish staircase, two house cats, and a couple of modern rooms. Pet friendly, gay friendly, and we survived the 2025 national power outage with Carmen and Victor.

I’ve traveled extensively over the years, but rarely have I experienced a welcome as warm and genuine as the one I received at Palacio de los Angulo, hosted by Carmen and Victor.They don’t just host you — they open their world to you. With open arms, they share not only their beautiful guest house and peaceful patio, but also their deep love for Córdoba and its culture.From the moment you step through the door, you can feel how much they care about what they do.I arrived as a guest and leave feeling like this historic and beautiful palacio has become a home.

Location is superb. And the Palacio WILL be extremely beautiful when they finish the work. Full of potential!

Slightly noisy road and no WiFi

My wife and I were most happy about the site, location, and the warm and open contact with the owners - especially their attempt to maintain original space and architecture in connection with modest and efficient space.Their communication was effective and reliable.

Moving through the gate, one enters a lovely garden, where you can relax in a very quiet, charming environment. Entering the building, you move up the impressive historical stairways of an old palacio and sleep relaxe in a very quiet, nicely furnished room - in the middle of the historic center. The palacio is very well renovated, with a lot of care to detail. The hosts are very welcoming.

What a beautiful surprise at first sight! The stunning bluish-flowered wall in this renovated historic palace was truly gorgeous. Victor's warm welcome and the truly nice room made the experience even more memorable.
