Pros +
- Great location immediately outside cathedral entrance and easy access to old town centre and lots of restaurants.
- It is right across from the mesquita which is lit up at night. We were able to go to mosque free between 8:30-9:30. Hotel has a/c which was nice. It has a lot of character. Just don't eat the breakfast unless you want to pay 7euros for a continental break

Cons -
- Corridors were dingy and main hallways cram full of items that nobody wanted from antique auctions. Access to the hotel from the front desk led you across a cobbled area constricted by an useless iron table with 4 chairs.
- We were told breakfast was included but then received a bill for 35 euros. Language barrier, I guess. Easy access to everything in Cordoba which is a cute town

A/C could have been better.
Great location and quaint room.
I would have liked to have had better information about where exactly to park. Maybe the hotel can provide its guests with the exact address of the closest parking garage.
Perfect location.
Bath tub with a curtain.
Lots of charm, and location is literally steps away from the entrance to the Mezquita! Also, the staff was so helpful. One of our party wasn't feeling well, so they let us into the first room that was ready (3 hours ahead of check-in). They also had taxis ready to pick us up in the morning--couldn't have been easier.
Overlooking the ancient mosque walls was something out of a movie -- it really was the most special room I have ever stayed in. Definitely value for money. The entire house is a museum of antiquities, with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. You will never forget staying at Hotel Casa de la Mezquita.
Fantastic location, very cool enigmatic lobby, beautiful room, amazing view across to Cathedral.
All great
Amazing location, right next to the Mezquita entrance, very kind staff.Bathroom with a bidet (only one we found through out our stay in Spain).Locked room for luggage storage even before/after check in.
Rather small room, as with the double beds it was hard to get around and simply move.Appreciate the bidet in the bathroom, but it was in a rather uncomfortable please for usage. It could use some renovation, but all in all it was clean and affordable.
Location good, nice staff
Room to small. Uncomfortable bed. No heating in the bathroom.
Location, location, locationHelpful, pleasant front desk staffVery cleanGood value
Facilities dated
Number one benefit of Hotel Mezquita is the location! Directly across from the entrance to the mosque, we had a balcony that over looked the plaza below. Hotel definitely has an "old world" vibe in it's decor which we appreciated. The women who staffed the desk were lovely and very helpful.
The desk staff were very helpful before and during our stay. Historic building in an ncredible location - we were lucky to have a room looking directly at the cathedral tower.
Location was exceptional
Poor ventilation. A/C didn’t work and street noise despite great view of Mesquita made it difficult to sleep.
I can’t recommend the breakfast. Baked goods were stale, plates, cups, saucers difficult to reach. At least one cup had dried bits of food in it even though it was stacked with “clean” cups. You can get a better breakfast for the 12€ the hotel charges at any number of cafes nearby.
The hotel was within walking distance across the road from the Old town of Cordoba. The room was spacious and clean and staff were very helpful.
Noting that I can say that I did not like, would stay there again.
Room was basic but the hotel has a prime location and despite being in the middle of everything there was no street noise. Rooms were made up every day.
no tea or coffee in the rooms. The breakfast wasn't great, the coffee was cold and so were the scrambled eggs. . However there was fresh fruit which made up for things.
Ovation next to Mezquita, clean rooms, comfortable beds and great staff.
Excellent location & breakfast option
Could have done with a fridge in the room, for Cold water & tea/coffee making facilities
Just a few steps outside Mesquite Cathedral and Bar Santos. I liked the antique feel of the hotel. Spotless room. They let us check in early when there was room availability. Good water pressure in the shower. A lot of choices for breakfast. Very helpful staff, especially Frank who replied to queries quickly.
Some noisy room neighbors who keep tapping the floor/wall at nearly midnight when people are trying to sleep
