Rhein-Hotel Nierstein

We had an an absolutely amazing stay here. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff patiently answered my questions about the area, and were very polite. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. Our room had complimentary hot drinks and an optional mini bar. The large fridge in the room was a nice touch!We had our evening meal on the terrace over looking the Rhien. The menu was small, but the food we had was delicious (soup, sourdough, tartlette). We did not have breakfast but there was a wide selection of breakfast options.Car parking was an optional 10 euros to park at the hotel, or, it was possible to park on a car park opposite with no charge. I would recommend this hotel!

Very friendly staff, knowledgable about wines of the area. Good food, excellent service. Good location and helpful advice about local walking and landmarks.

Our room had poor Wi-Fi, the luck of the draw but slightly annoying.

Everything. Staff were fantastic. Dinner was delicious. They had a secure storage room for our bicycles. The room and bed was great.

Excellent family run hotel in super location on the Rhine. A real gem that I found by chance looking for a stopover location. Very friendly staff. My room was in the annexe which was fine, nice and quiet because facing away from the road. The room was small but had absolutely everything I needed. I though it was excellent value for money, 77 euros which included breakfast. Talking of which, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. So much choice! The staff cooked me a cheese and vegetable omelette. Very impressive. Nierstein has a lovely old town and I managed to do a walk through the vineyards and woods lying above it.

It was 11 euros to park in the courtyard, which I thought was worth it, but it would be nice if this was made clear in advance on the booking.com site. There was however free parking elsewhere had I wanted it. The evening meal wasn't quite as exciting as the breakfast and the vegetarian options were a little limited.

The hotel was nice. Room was large. Beds were comfortable.

We were placed on the second floor about the outside restaurant/Bar. Wedding was going to 3 am. No A/C so had to sleep with open windows but noise at bar kept us up.

Location was magnificent , overlooking the river. We took a good breakfast on the terrace.

the '24 hour' availability of the management. I arrived late and found myself in front of a closed door. But... all had been arranged for to get me the key to the room and access to the car park. Top.Very commited management/staff.

The staff were super friendly and did everything they could to accommodate any request. Views were amazing from the rooms at the front and the restaurant. Conveniently located to the train station. Breakfast was sensational

We had lovely rooms in the main part of hotel and therefore can’t comment on the rooms at the back which Must be the basic economy rooms. We stayed in the standard rooms.

Relaxing hotel in nice area. Parking available behind hotel. We were able to coordinate checking in off hours which was very helpful. Excellent, varied breakfast choices, comfortable room with great views of the Rhine

Breakfast was great. The hotel is great. Meals are great but a bit on the expensive side. All up "good".

Location was good but noisy traffic early in the morning, hence the ear plugs on the bed. Neighbor had TV running to 2am on full volume.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent noise & sound cancelling windows/blinds, comfortable overall and decent breakfast (except had no fruit) that would cater to your preferences.

Bathroom was not at all like in the advertised pictures, and the shower head would not stay in position so I physically had to hold it with one arm. No fruit such as apples or bananas available at breakfast.

Lovely hotel on the banks of the Rhine. Deliciousbreakfast and charming staff. Well appointed room even down to a pair of dumbbells.

Nothing really. It was our misfortune to arrive on a a Sunday when the restaurant was closed in theevening.

Superb breakfast that one could order to the room, really friendly staff, calm courtyard room with own entrance. Everything was clean & tidy. Bonus points for yoga mat in the room.

There was hardly any sound insulation between the rooms.

The breakfast selection is large and the staff prepares omelettes, eggs, bacon according to your personal wishes. The coffee is served the way you want (espresso, cappuccino, brewed coffee etcetera).
