About
The 3 Chalets du Mont d’Arbois This house, which has always belonged to the De ROTSCHILD, consists of three distinct chalets, each named after their daughters.. Eve, our main chalet, houses the Bar, Spa, and Restaurant. Noémie and Alice are located just a few yards away and are connected by charming snow-covered outdoor pathways. Each chalet features a very different style, reflecting the character of this renowned family, who played a key role in shaping what Megève is today. The rooms, decorated in the style of traditional historic alpine chalets, feature furniture pieces from the private collection of the Edmond de Rothschild family. Our Spa Suzanne KAUFMANN Featuring a heated indoor pool maintained between 28 and 31°C, we strive to offer treatments based on the most natural products possible. Our spa has limited capacity to ensure privacy and comfort for all guests, with loungers, a 4-person sauna, and three treatment rooms for one or two guests. We kindly invite you to book your treatments as soon as possible to guarantee availability. Children are welcome in the spa pool until 5:00 pm at the latest. After this time, access is reserved exclusively for adults. Please note that any cancellation of treatments or massages made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full. Héritage restaurant, by Marc Henry Mazure Chef In this charming, period-style dining room, we offer a magnificent breakfast buffet as well as dinner inspired by a refined Alpine brasserie. Our Chef will be delighted to satisfy your expectations through his creations. If your stay includes a half-board package, we are pleased to welcome you for both breakfast and dinner. Do you have a special request? Please feel free to let us know—whether it’s a convivial fondue or boîte chaude, a cut of meat of your choice, or a whole fish prepared especially for you. We kindly ask that you inform us prior to your arrival. Should you have no specific wishes in advance, we would be happy to suggest options during your stay. Our Bar Lounge Enjoy a relaxing break in our mountain bar, featuring a creative cocktail menu crafted by our talented bartenders, along with a simple and refined snacking menu. Noter conciergerie Megève offers a wealth of restaurants, discoveries, and activities. Albane, our head concierge, supported by the reception team, will be delighted to organize your activities. Our nearby ski shop is the ideal place for your equipment rentals. No prior reservation is required, and a dedicated private area will be exclusively reserved for you. Would you like to book ski lessons? We are available to arrange lessons now, for all ages and levels. However, we strongly recommend anticipating your requests. Megève is a highly sought-after resort during this period. As ski instructors are extremely busy during the high season, last-minute availability cannot be guaranteed. Please note that any modification or cancellation of ski lessons made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged in full, and we cannot guarantee availability in the event of schedule changes. A Special Occasion to Celebrate? Whether it is a relationship anniversary, wedding anniversary, birthday, or personal achievement, every occasion deserves to be celebrated. Allow us to guide you in enhancing your arrival, your stay, or a special evening with thoughtful, personalized touches. All the teams at Les Chalets du Mont d’Arbois sincerely look forward to welcoming you. We remain at your disposal to assist you and help make your stay truly exceptional.

Pros +
- The hotel is beautiful, but the suite was quite ordinary — nothing special for a 5-star property. It was on the ground floor, very dark, with no view, and the bathroom was quite smelly. I really didn’t like it, especially considering the amount of money we spent. The restaurant service was extremely slow, with dinner taking two hours on two separate occasions. On the positive side, the food quality was excellent. Overall, not really a good experience.
- Some of the staff was very kindBreakfast was what you'd expect
- We loved the location, the beautiful views, the historic chalet’s decor and coziness, the very friendly and attentive staff, including the concierge, the shuttle service to the ski gondola and Megeve town, and the personalized service of the ski shop where we were able to leave our equipment and boots instead of carrying it to the slopes every day. The pool and spa was amazing during a heavy snow day! It was my daughter’s 30th birthday celebration and all the staff knew it and prepared many surprises for her to make her day extra special! ❤️??Thank you! ?
Cons -
- No air conditioning. This is not a hotel to stay during the hot summer days, they should not make you pay like you're in a five star and then sleep much worse than at home. We saw on booking there were a lot of bigger rooms left, with more windows to circulate air at night, but the reception staff refused to propose an upgrade. So we stayed in our little room with one window only giving on the forest, a loud fan, and not much air. I was extremely disappointed they did not answer our ask, because there were still 4-5 rooms still available with more windows. They simply said they didn't have any more rooms in that category, not a very entrepreneurial spirit. Then the chalet is built to keep the heat inside, so even with windows open and the fan it was not an easy night. It's true on the listing the AC was not listed, but to be honest for a five star hotel I was giving it for granted that there would be. They should be more explicit in saying it. The pool was ok, but rather small, not beds for everyone, and a very loud drunk dude screaming the story of his life from the pool. Again, not a five star behaviour and the staff didn't tell him anything. I'd rather go to Switzerland next time.
- The hotel comprises of three chalets, and the amenities are in the main chalet. We stayed in the Alice chalet, which is located about 100 meters from the main chalet. During snow storm, they will pick you up with a shuttle to take you to the pool or restaurant, but it is a little inconvenient. On the other hand, the Alice and Noemi chalets are very quiet and the room was so comfortable, especially the bed, which was the best we ever had in a hotel!
- Service. Sauna does'n work. The personal forgot in 50 % cases to do the evening servis in the room. Long waiting time for breakfast.

Nice design of the property.

There were pleasant lounge areas and a good spa. The concierge service was very responsive, promptly booking any restaurant in town and helping resolve any request. The hotel offered delicious breakfasts and a convenient shuttle service to Megève.
The standard room was very different from the photos presented. It was extremely small. You can see how the ceiling in the room looked, which is impossible to ignore when lying on the bed. The bedside lamps looked like they had been flooded, all streaked and dirty. The bathroom was also significantly different from the options shown in the photos. There was no bidet or hygienic shower; note that the bathroom either has a shower or a bathtub. We had no shower, only a bathtub. It was surprising to encounter a mattress with connected springs in a 5-star hotel managed by Four Seasons — definitely not their usual standard. When my spouse moved during the night, I woke up because the mattress transmitted every movement.Be aware that upon departure, the hotel deducts a percentage as gratuities. We had already tipped in cash, but additional gratuities were charged at checkout, which came as an unexpected expense.
Very friendly staff, beautiful location and facilities, cozy and romantic
The chalet was not cleaned well before our check in and a piece of glass was left from the previous guests and caused a cut in my foot
Charming small hotel, staff lovely and very friendly. Very close to the ski slope. The boot room was easy. Ski hire shop also amazing service. Transport new. Welcome cake unbelievable !
Bathrooms tired but very clean and functional. A bit too dark for me in the bedrooms. Drinks served with olives no crisps or nuts!
Everything!! Beautiful Room very authentic gives you a real lux chalet feeling! loved the shuttle service to the main hotel and to everywhere in megeve very very comfortable and helpful! special thanks to reception, shuttle driver (Antoine ) very helpful and explained the history of the place ! We stayed in the main chalet which was very easy access to everywhere !
the cosiness and it’s very clean a wonderful place to relax
the manager wasn’t helpful although i was a four season member and i had some issues to deal with back home I reached him out to cancel the stay and this was my first time he wasn’t helpful and he refused the booking is not flexible at all
unfriendly and inflexible people ridiculously expensive tiny “Alpine” room
I loved everything! the service of a five star hotel in smaller, cosy chalet atmosphere. excellent staff, fantastic spa and pool.
Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. The room was very cozy as well.
