    • great breakfast buffet, all baked locally and of course hyper fresh, fantastic breads and pastries, very friendly staff always available to help
    • Cozy, comfortable, clean, good food and perfect service!
    • Excellent hotelLovely outdoor wellness areaGreat restaurants Attentive staff

    Cons -

    • small remarks :breakfast are variety in terms of patisseries but there is no menu for example ; omelet , porridge , pan kek or crepe etc you have to ask - and first day we didn't know that - there are 2 restaurants but the thing is for Le bistro ; the menu is same and not enough option : after 2 days you have to go to city center to eat something different the another resturant is Le table which has michelin star and service was too slow for the first meal we had to wait almost 1 hour - and for the first time we have seen this kind of thing as we have countless michelin star experience all over the world - this is ski hotel and the dinner lasted at around 23.00 and we were still waiting for the dessert etc ..third one is about the spa the distance between indoor pool and outdoor welness are too far from away - you have to go outside and walk for outdoor pool , hot tub and jakuzi so the design is not efficient
    • There were problems with WiFi during our stay but we heard that this was a Megeve issue then. It was probably fixed after we left.
    • Would be nice if the pool opened earlier in the mornings so we could have taken a morning swim (opens only at 10am).A little training in English for some of the staff at the breakfast would have helped us guests who haven't mastered French yet.Lack of information about what would happen throughout the week (such as the live performance that we missed).Lack of information of what was available to order from the kitchen at breakfast. Static menu at the bistro. Would've eaten there more often if there was a daily special. After six days in a row with the same staff it would've been pleasant to not repeat our coffee order for breakfast again. Dull kitchen knives.

We had a great experience during our winter stay. We made very good use of outside pool and sauna and indoor pool/jacuzzi is very pleasant, too. The best things about this nice hotel are the people who work there and fabulous breakfast (11/10)!

There were problems with WiFi during our stay but we heard that this was a Megeve issue then. It was probably fixed after we left.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were a good size and nicely furnished and appointed. breakfast was great as well. The hotel is a little out of the town but the shuttle service was worked perfectly.

Fantastic location, wonderful hotel with amazing rooms and a view to die for. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - no matter what we asked for. We felt welcome and at home at all times, and can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoys life. Also loved that there was a kitchen in the room and full equipment for cooking your own meal to eat on the balcony with lovely red wine.

Incredible hotel, staff and views. Can’t fault our stay. Staff were amazing throughout from arrival helping park and unpack our car. The lady in charge of breakfast made our stay. So friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable . The view from bed/balcony was breathtaking taking. Massive bath, it fit 2 grown adults. Food and drinks were outstanding . The breakfast was so yummy and to a great standard, lots of choice. Even offered to make my off menu vegetarian items for dinner. Would definitely stay again !

The interior decor of the property is lovely, very warm and cosy which you would want with a hotel in the Alps. A select members of staff were really great - the receptionist was very helpful, and Julian the driver was wonderful!

A member of staff burst into our room completely unannounced and didn't even acknowledging his error or give an apology; this is completely unacceptable in any hotel, let alone 5 star. Other disappointments included:- the bistro light lunch menu was not available even though it was marketed online. - the service staff were very unprofessional and unable to communicate in English. This shouldn't be the case in a 5 star hotel and definitely let down the team. - the sparkling water was completely flat. - there is no temperature control in the rooms. - the outdoor wellness area and pool was a construction site, with mud everywhere and the pool cleaner still in during the day. - the hotel failed to respond to email correspondence via booking.com.

The space, the views, the quietness, the food and the kindness of the staff. Both "Bistro" and "Table" were delicious.

We stayed for a week and for 3 days (midweek) the swimming pool was open but some of the spa options weren't active despite of letting the guy at reception know we were going to the spa area.

Room is spacious, modern with styleSome staff are wonderful and some not experienced at all. Inconsistent level of service. From excellent to really poor.

Breakfast is poor. For an hotel that level, you would expect much more variety and more high quality ingredients.

Everything about this hotel is lovely and exceptional! It is quite design-forward, which we love. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and eager to assist. The concierge was excellent. The front desk staff was lovely and friendly...just be sure to ask management or the concierge if more detailed answers are necessary as they are the rockstars with very quick and active results. Be sure you have dinner on property at least once...it is exceptional...whether it's the Bistro or the the Table. The breakfast staff was so cheerful and happy to accomodate our multiple requests for long coffees, more cream, more honey, etc...we felt very spoiled. They are also a great wealth of information if you have questions about their input of what to do around town or which runs to hit on the slopes! We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and inviting hotel lounge/bar...the drinks are top notch. We weren't there long enough to take advantage of their pool/spa offerings but it looked very nice. This is def. a "cool kids" destination that still manages to feel welcoming to those coming with their families. It strikes all the right notes for traveling to the area in a stylish and comfortable way!

The shuttle system to/fro town didn't seem to always run perfectly on schedule, so we would call the hotel and let them know we were waiting and then someone would arrive shortly. So it all worked out okay but would be great if you never needed to make the phone call. Also, just as a minor note, we would have loved to understand the map of the situation better ahead of time. We booked skit kits at a location which was a 15 min walk away from the shuttle without realizing it. If we were to do it all over again, we would have asked the hotel for their help in booking ski equipment...or perhaps the hotel can be more vocal about that coordination being essential to transports here and there. The hotel answered many of our questions via email, but a visual map of where the hotel is and where the shuttle picks up/drops off vs rental shop and/or ski lifts would be helpful! Again, not a deal breaker, but what might feel intuitive to locals is quite confusing to us travelers at times- ha.

The Style of the hotel is what attracted our family

The staff lacked 5 star standard training. They were all polite and friendly but were not very well managed, reliable or trained to 5 star standards.

    Disappointing service

Understaffed overall.Understaffed in breakfast; dirty tables, super limited breakfast. Incorrect guidance on snow conditions. No guidance on how to get around / ski lifts etc. No help with ski guides. No concierge services - couldnt manage to make a restaurant reservation; or make any recommendations. Didnt see a valet, we parked on our own. Overall - service is not there. Sorry but not worth 1500 Euro a night.

Beautiful setting and very well designed.

It was a little too far from the centre of Megeve so it was necessary to drive.

    8JasminePosted on: 7-20-2023

Beautiful views and great location near Megeve. You can have the hotel drop you into town and a lovely and easy 20 minute walk back. Rooms were nice and clean, bed were very comfortable. In the summer they set up a movie night outdoors and it was lovely.

This did not feel like a 5* stay. Some oversights from the staff that persisted. The fitness area was small and hot. Breakfast was a real let down. We arrived at 9:00-9:30 most mornings and there was barely any food left… mostly breads available. There was small basket of overripe or damaged fruits. I may have been ok with all of this if it was a 4* hotel but certainly unexpected from a 5*.

Very nice terrace woth a bonfire and a view. The restaurant is very good (even the bistrot) and the indoor spa facilities are quite good along with the outdoor Swedish bath. The staff were very nice and caring especially the massage therapist.

The room and the common areas had neither fans nor A/C which made us feel quite hot with the summer weather even in the night. We wished the hotel had an adult only rule as the few families with children contrasted with the relaxing, resourcing retreat atmosphere of the spa and the hotel as a whole.

    10SuePosted on: 6-27-2023

Beautifully design hotel with chalets. Excellent staff. It is a little way out of Megeve but there is a shuttle service into town.Delicious food (we only ate in the Bistrot) and that was excellent.
