Great big room, AMAZING breakfast

The parking is quite pricey (15€ per day) and also 5 minutes away from the hotel.

Great location, beautiful room, nice service. Breakfast was excellent, too!

Expensive meals and parking

The location on the lake and accessibility to surrounding restaurants, wineries, and ferries to visit other places on the lake. Excellent hotel which presents with high standards for lodging and food!

Great traditionally German hotel, great location on the lake shore, impecably clean, room big enough and air contioning very efficient. Restaurant very good, open air panorama is impressive.

Breakfast is very good, yet many peple use the restaurant from nearby hotels, so morning breakfast can be crowded at some hours ...

No possibility to make tea/coffee in the room (it was a very cold and rainy day when we stayed). I recommend the hotel to have few nonbroken umbrellas to give to people staying in the hotel (I happen to need one and got the only broken one available to customers)

Lovely hotel Excellent location

Bike store and car parking were at opposite ends of the town which was a bit of a pain !

Excellent location. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety for everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would be good if the hotel had a quiet sitting room where guests can enjoy reading or a quiet conversation. Especially when the weather is not so good.booking.com should make it clear that the hotel does not have free parking.

Adjacent to the lakeside promenade and convenient for bus connections. Efficient and pleasant check-in at reception. Good hanging and storage space. Spacious bathroom with good storage space and easy to access shower with good controls and acceptable pressure. Very good buffet breakfast choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, breads, cheese and meats. Fresh omelettes to order.

For a four star hotel, the room felt small. Minimal number of hangers. Narrow doorway between the breakfast items area and the tables area.

Location fantastic. Lovely room.Breakfast buffet was not topped up so there were shortages of most things at 9.00 am. Two out of three coffee machines not working. No white rolls. No bacon. Fried eggs cold. Sorry this let the hotel down.

Location. Directly on the water and next to the downtown and a view of the old castle.

If you didn’t run the A/C there was a backflow stench from the bathroom. It was a lovely room though. Unfortunately the TV did Kot work for the two nights we spent there. Eventually at 4:30 pm they brought in a table to place a tv there and take away space from our room that we had to maneuver around. The outdoor restaurant is quite nice, but we were questioned several times about why we were there, when we were just walking around the grounds and admiring the seashore. We told them that we were staying there, but for some reason they thought it was odd that a guest would enjoy the park like setting adjacent to the restaurant.I do believe we had one of the best rooms…at least for the view. We were without the tv for two days and stayed out of our room most of the second in case they came to fix the TV. We came back to the room at 3:30 to refresh, only to have someone show up at 3:40 and make several trips in and out for the next hour before giving up and just bringing up a table instead of hanging it on the wall. Fingerprints all over the tv and they didn’t bother to put booties on to not track dirt in and out of the room. While they offered a minor discount for 1 night, I insisted on 2 nights. They finally agreed. This really was a nice place, and while we understand things like this happen, we just want a fair compensation without having to explain why what they offered was not adequate. We also noticed if you did not make it down at least 45 minutes before breakfast ended, you might as well go elsewhere for the money, as they were out of many items in the last 1/2 hour. But it was a really nice place other than those few things. Love the location.

Restaurant was amazing as was the location. Air conditioning was so nice to have as it was pretty hot! Staff spoke some English for us which was so helpful.

If I had to put something negative, I would say that having to go pick up mini-bar contents from the front desk was kind of awkward. Our refrigerator was not even cold when we arrived, even if we wanted to fill it.

Located at the edge of the historic city, it was an ideal place to stay with public parking garages only a few blocks away. We were able to drive up to the hotel to check-in and drop off our bags, then park the car to nearby. It has a nice view of the lake and the room we stayed was clean and comfortable. The historic town and castle are just outside for you to explore and enjoy. The breakfast was also very good with lots of seating. Overall a good choice in this scenic town.

We booked a room with A/C because we thought it might get warm (especially if you want to keep the windows open at night when there might be people dining or walking by outside). However on arrival they gave us the keys to a room without A/C. After bringing this to our attention we were fortunately changed to an even better A/C room, though I have no idea why the mix-up. I don't think all rooms have A/C so best to inquire to be sure what you booked. Note the parking is extra as well as the pricey city-tax per person per night.

Perfect location by the lake, modern facilities, great staff, reasonably priced as included a good breakfast. Would stay again.

My entire family stayed in the hotel for several days and we were all extremely satisfied! We all definitely recommend it. Beautiful, modern, convenient and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

A simple Coffee machine or a kettle would be a great addition.

My family and I were staying at the hotel for several days, and it has been simply incredible. The rooms were beautiful, convenient and clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating all our requests with a warm smile. Breakfast is no less than perfect, with a huge variety of options. And, when something was missing they improved immediately.In terms of location, it is ideal.We all had a wonderful time there.

The only thing we were missing were options for warm drinks in the rooms. We were expecting a standard coffee machine or kettle, but unfortunately that could not be provided.

We heard some noises from our neighbour’s room in the morning. The room was smaller than expected and the bed was not the most comfortable (two matresses with a gap)
