Hotel & Gästehaus Seehof

The hotel was clean and the staff was Courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed the selection of foods offered for breakfast. We were offered a ride to the off sight location for this meal.

The room and bathroom were smaller than most hotel rooms that we have stayed in in Germany.

Winter travel, and booked a family room and a double room, both without sea views. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very friendly and helpful welcome at the reception and smooth check-in. Hotel is very conveniently located within the old town and looks onto the castle. Breakfast (which is served in Hotel Wilder Mann) is excellent. We travelled by car, and it's possible to park briefly right outside the hotel to drop luggage and then park. Parking in the "Parkhaus im Weinberg" was cost-effective, and about 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Expensive parking, noise from the harbor jetties and can be cheaper in price because of the aging building and facilities compared to other options in town.

It is located in city center, with a nice view. Rooms are not too large, but enough to accommodate 2 people. You have a minibar in room, but might be hidden in the closet.

Bathroom is quite small and entrance is very close to one of the bed in the room.

Central location, no noise with windows closed. Ice cream parlour on the ground floor, clean and comfortable

Seaside hotel, lake view room, close to all attractions. Great breakfast at sister hotel down the street.

We stayed at the sister hotel and it was lovely. The rooms were quite large and the view of Lake Constance were excellent. Breakfast was good. I was unwell one night and staff were happy to deliver soup to our room as I wasn't well enough to go anywhere for dinner. The staff were all exceptional.

The parking is a bit far from the hotel, but it can't be changed as the hotel is on prime realestate right in front of the lake. There was a parking area for us to move our luggage into the hotel.

Excellent location, although we ended up in a different building across the road from the main building. Our room indicated view of the city, but it was more like view of a private dwelling and dingy courtyard. Hot showers were amazing! Staff were so kind and helpful and spoke very good English after my attempt at broken German.Breakfast was AMAZING, located a few minutes down the road in their sister hotel. We would likely book at this other location for our next stay.

Hotel rooms are a bit rundown and need some love.Lots of stairs which was not an issue for us being young and strong, but may be a challenge for anyone who can't carry heavy luggage up.

Very good location - in the city center. Very good breakfast in the Hotel nearby.

Very bad pillows. No elevator - to go to the 2 flour it was not so easy

We had booked a room that I didn't realise was in the Gasthaus - so not in the main hotel. We were really disappointed with the room. It was a very dark and gloomy corridor in a building down the road from the main hotel with no lift and two flights of stairs to lug two suitcases up so not ideal. The room was very dated and not at all what we were expecting. We went straight back to reception and asked for an upgrade. We were offered a variety of rooms in the main hotel with lake views and opted for this for an extra 50E. I guess as it was end of season, the location was quiet but the hotel seemed very much closed with no bar or anything on site which is not what we expected.The bed wasn't the most comfortable for me and the room was so hot overnight and uncomfortable, I'm glad it wasn't summer when we were there. The bathroom was just OK, nothing fancy but it was fine.

Great location and lovely breakfast a short walk away.

No prior information about the hotel and parking despite several e mails to the hotel. Steep stairs to the room in the guest house. Room was basic with bare light bulbs and slightly tatty. Bathroom needs renovation.

Lovely location. Fantastic breakfast which is served at the partner hotel at the end of the street. Good safe parking at a site near to the ferry terminal. You can unload car next to hotel before parking.

Great breakfast. Really good value for the money. Super comfy pillows!!!! and bed. Friendly staff. Lovely town. Too bad rainy when we were there. Easy to find. Parking was important too.

Breakfast was wonderful with seating inside or outside with view of the lake.

My room was not in the main building. When I left the room and building I did not pay attention and had problems finding the building with my room. I finally found a waiter in a restaurant who happened to know where Room 3 was located - right next to the restaurant which was not part of the hotel.

Fantastic views on the port. Close to everything. Nice rooms, comfortable bedding. breakfast is in different location but fabulous.

The chap on check out made everything extremely slow and difficult, the lady at reception previously was very good however.
