Wochner's Hotel-Sternen Am Schluchsee Hochschwarzwald

Family run, staff extremely friendly, restaurant & breakfast fantastic Recommended

Very friendly and helpful staff, family-run hotel so comfy atmosphere. Hotel is well situated and within walking distance of the lake. Parking cards are provided so you can park in the neighbourhood. Good value for money.

Nothing really except some detail critics : rooms are correct but a bit outdated by modern standards, I have the impression the hotel is being updated step by step so will not hold it against them. Also take the following into account : generally limited opening times of restaurants throughout the village of Schluchsee and many closures on mondays and tuesdays

Friendly staff. Food very good.

Internet not easily available. Wifi quality poor

Good location, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms

Clean, central location, safe car parking & very helpful staff

Staff were brilliant - very welcoming and helpful. A warm family run hotel.

Everything was so perfect in this stay:1. Amazing host - they were so warm, and helpful2. The breakfast was simply awesome. The person who served us the breakfast checked regularly if everything was okay and if we need anything else3. The room was amazing! The balcony was huge and with a stunning view of the lake!4. The beds were very comfortable5. Location was amazing, very near the center of the city - and walking distance from the station and the lake6. The hotel itself was very classy yet very modern. We really like the colorful interiors (including the towels, bed, chairs etc.)

There was nothing we didn't like

Location, very friendly staff, free ticket for the transport (regional card) on the way back, very traditional nicely decorated restaurant with tasty food

I think it was relatively quiet as there were not many people, noise from the corridor is well heard

Very friendly place, high comfort. Excellent location.

The Wifi could have been better.

Staff was very hospitable and location fit our leisure.

Amazing hospitality, great location and excellent breakfast.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was amazing!

Amazing customer service from all the staff!Great location.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was so lovely, they couldn’t do anymore to have made our stay brilliant. We felt so relaxed.

Nothing, the hotel, staff and location were all perfect!

The location is excellent and whilst a bit of a throwback to years ago, the hotel retains loads of character

Nothing important; it shows its age but really happy to have visited

Very friendly personnel, both at reception as well as in the restaurant
