Hotel Mercure Ajaccio

Location and staff

Room was very small. No coffee packet in the room, lack OF ATTENTION TO DETAILS.

Great accommodation, well located, good wifi, nice pool. The Brazilian staff was a plus. He was super nice..

Very nice and useful location , just few steps from the marina, nice room, very clean and comfortable, staff is very friendly, helpful and english speaking too, which helps a lot with my basic french.

Lack of toiletry in the bathroom

Room, view, breakfast, excellent. Reception staff excellent.

bit further out from the city centre than we had thought, but easily walkable

Nice room design and amenities, great position and breakfast

Internet was problematic, sometimes not eve able to have online work calls. I understand also the idea to have refillable water jar in the room, but at least can be refilled by staff during cleaning time.

Kind staff. Very clean facilities. Pool with on site parking was a huge convenience.

A very nice location! Direct at the harbour on walging distance from all major locations. Corsica is a beautiful location!

Clean, good staff

Location and long wait for taxi 20 minutes sometimes

Liked that even that it was on a main road, the windows were fairly well insulated but one could still hear the noise from the street. There’s a nice view of the sea and the hotel is very close to the market and to the train station.

They didn’t have ear plugs.

Great location in city center with a small swimming pool and jacuzzi

Having to pay for the jacuzzi

Clean spacious room with nice view over the harbour

When I checked out, there were two ladies very kind. But when we checked in there was a white-aged man with white hair, he was so so rude.

There was no coffee and tea in the room. it is very poor.

The brekafast was pretty good

Overpriced, mixup at reception about our room bookings (we were a group of 8), staff trying to pretend that everything is fine instead of simply apologising, plenty of mosquitos at the pool, and very far to the city centre. No sauna, only jacuzzi and it's 10 euros to use it. Also you can't bring hotel towels to the pool or there is a 60 euro fine. Terribly large deposits asked at check-in - 500 euro per room. Overall would not recommend - can get the same deal or a better deal for much less elsewhere.

I liked the bedroom, very comfy, big room (in building 2 only). Breakfast was good. Rooftop bar smalll but cosy.

A bit far from center of town, but doable. No bar at swimming pool, though they mentioned it was opened until18u30….no sign of anyone.

Basi and v clean central location. Check in was a bit of a fail initially but got sorted quickly and staff were apologetic. Breakfast was fabulous.

Modern, spacious, newly decorated, quiet hotel with fabulous pool and terrace. Good location close to the port.

Was surprised to be asked to pay 5 euro to use a pool towel. Not as security bond but just to use one.

Helpful staff, very clean, good location, on site parking.

Some road noise

We arrived early in the morning and hotel Mercure was so kind that we could park our car in their garage already. And also their swimming pool is so nice and welcome.

The room was spacious, clean, great bathroom the only thing that was not working was the minibar, so could not keep things cool.

Great hotel. Room over looked the pool area. Breakfast great. Staff helpful. A little away from city centre but a bus every 15 minutes to main area.

Nil

rooms were large and the bathroom had space to put out my toiletries. parking was there at the hotel and the pool area was nice

No fridge and no where to hang your towels to dry after a day at the beach or pool.
