Hôtel Spunta Di Mare

This is an excellent hotel with super friendly staff. They upgraded us to a fabulous owner's suite with artistic furnishings and a nice balcony with view. We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight to Paris so it was very convenient. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty but can be crowded with tour groups. The indoor swimming pool was amazing and we had it all to ourselves. Parking in the back lot was free and secure. We were able to charge our electric vehicle.

Good staff and services. Good breakfast for the price. Free parking was a big plus as I drove there.

Rooms are a bit small. Hotel 2kms away from downtown. There is a bus stop (line 1) but runs only every 30 minutes.

Everything was perfect!! Room temperature, bedding, bathtub size, mattress, very friendly reception people, superb breakfast and location.

WiFi was really poor. We picked this place largely because other reviews raved about the WiFi. Could get no work done. Wasted day which is not ideal.

Excellent hotel, great for exploring Ajaccio. Super bonus points for the private parking.The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious.If you like walking, the city center can be reached on foot in about 30min.

Too far from town. Only their restaurant was near by, the food was ok and fairly priced.

Nice hotel with beautiful view, indoor pool, nice beach at a few minutes walk. The city center is 2-3 km away but a bus station is very close to the hotel

Breakfast is rather poor, no dark bread (yes I know it is not common in France), no müsli, (only corn flakes), no vegetables. But a lot of very good cakes!

We recently stayed at [Hotel Name] and while the experience had its ups and downs, there were some highlights worth mentioning. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay, always going out of their way to assist with any requests. Their hospitality truly stood out.The hotel’s outdoor terrace was a lovely surprise, offering a beautiful view of the harbour and the city skyline. It became our favorite spot to relax after a day of sightseeing.The in-house restaurant provided a nice touch of convenience, serving a decent continental breakfast to start the day. We also enjoyed a few simple but tasty dinners there, which made it easy when we didn’t feel like venturing out.Overall, while the hotel could use some improvements, the friendly staff, scenic terrace, and the convenience of the on-site restaurant made our stay pleasant.

The hotel is showing its age. The building felt a bit dated and in need of some renovations, with certain areas feeling run down. The location was also less convenient than we expected, being too far from the city center to comfortably walk to major sites and restaurants..Overall, while the hotel could use some improvements, the friendly staff, scenic terrace, and the convenience of the on-site restaurant made our stay pleasant.

The single room is in the corner next to the swimming pool, so it was noisy and the wifi was almost nothing. I wanted to change a room right after I checked in because I needed internet, but it was not possible. They don't trust their customer, and I was required to prove to three staff that the wifi did not work in the old room but was good in the new room, two of them did not speak any English. Because they still think that the Swiss phone has the problem, not their internet. Then I had to wait the next day after 10 am and pack my stuff into the storage room, including my wet clothes. Everything in the new room was slightly better than the poor single room. It wasted me so much time, but I did not hear once sorry from any staff at any point.

Host Jean-Francois (owner) was very hospitable, and an excellent chef as well! The town is exceptionally beautiful and interesting, and retains character with many local residents, not full of tourists (at least in late September).

Room is ok, simple but clean, bathroom was big enough with a bath. Breakfast was ok - good enough to find something more than a croissant:) Beautiful terrace on the roof - for evening city views, I definitely recommend visiting - you can even organize a picnic with food and drinks. Plage d'Aspretto a few minutes away - 5-10 min walk.Good restaurant to visit - Da Mamma, excellent local food and service. Napoleon Museum - main touristic attraction in Ajaccio, as well as local market with fish and other local producer's specialties

Coffee drink for breakfast, which is better not to try. It is better to look for coffee in one of the cafes outside the hotel.

Rooftop Terrace was beautiful

Pretty far away from anything. Breakfast pretty lackluster

Dining arrangements were fine. Simple but adequate food choice and they accommodated our requirements for vegetarian dishes. Roof terrace was excellent- clean and well equipped with great views. Friendly cats!

Pool didn't open till 9.30 so not possible to have a pre-breakfast swim. Car parking a bit challenging but we managed OK.
