Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amiraute

Very noisy location, garbage trucks picking up garbage very early in the morning, every 2 days or so. It's hard to get a good night of sleep, unfortunately.

Very nice location, close to the city. The hotel has secure private parking, a professional reception, a good quality breakfast, and a spacious, elegant, and well-appointed room. The bedding is of good quality.

Sea view rooms, very clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking lots.

Very friendly welcome at reception. Very nice and cozy breakfast area and good buffet. Spatious and well-equipped room and very welcoming swimming pool with spa area and pool bar, which was the perfect start to our holiday. Free shuttle to city center!

Quite pricey.

This is a very convenient transit hotel, about a 7-minute taxi ride to/from the airport. We stayed there on the last night of our trip to Corsica. I would not recommend it for the duration of a stay in Ajaccio, since location isn't great for those who like to walk to attractions and because it doesn't have old city charm or a distinct Corsica flavor. But definitely a good, strategic spot for an early departure. Dinner at their restaurant was very good, and there is a large grocery store within walking distance.

Would have liked more fruits at the breakfast buffet... but otherwise all good.

The location was good not great: it is a bit more industrial and there is quite a bit of traffic. You are outsieo f the city center and we took the electirc Scooters to get in/out of town which took 15 mins or so. We found the other side of Ajaccio's downtown area to be much more desirable, with beach access more direct. Also, most unfortunatlely, there was a large construction project within the property that was not disclosed to us. We arrived to our rooms being adjacent to buzzing saws and many workers. This was quite disruptive and should be disclosed to guests up front. We didnt even receive a discount or any form of consideration.

The staff made all the difference! The hotel and the room is clean, convenient, has all the amenities and a beautiful view. The infinity pool and the swimming jacuzzi are definitely a welcomed plus!

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast selection was excellent. We wanted to eat earlier for dinner before they opened, and we appreciated that they accommodated us with the selections that did not require the cook.

The staff was nice, the location was okay, and the room was big and clean. I wished that our view wouldn't have been into an allée. The dinner and breakfast were good. I recommend this hotel!

A room with a water view would have been nice. Also a working garage door would be great so the cars would be safe.

Room was upgraded to a suite on arrival which was unexpected and it was huge. We did not take breakfast. The swimming pool was very pleasant and parking was easy. It was a fair walk into town - perhaps longer than we anticipated when booking, but did not cause any issues as there is a metalled footpath along the front.

We were told on arrival that the restaurant was open til 10pm so we decided to eat in that first evening as we arrived at the hotel around 5/6pm and did not feel up to exploring the neighbourhood. We arrived at 9pm for dinner to find a packed dining room ( there were tables on the terrace but not set up for eating) . We asked a waiter about food and he directed us to the restaurant manager who simply stated that it was closed due to a private function. We told him we had been told on arrival it would be open. he simply shrugged his shoulders. Another guest arrived to be advised the same thing. We were not amused. The restaurant manager was rude, abrupt and pretended not to understand English ( for tunately I speak French so he was not able to continue with that ploy). We were disgusted and lodged a complaint with reception who gave us directions to a small local eaterie. We would not stop there again and refused to stay in any more Best Westerns during our stay on the island. Speaking to some other guests, customer service at this hotel falls far below expected norms although reception staff are friendly and welcoming.

Easy to find hotel on arrival to Ajaccio

The restaurant was like a cafeteria and very noisy.There were no other restaurants within walking distance so needed to drive.Room was very small and looked over a building site and on our second day room was still being serviced at 16.45.

Location and lovely apartment room, and pool.

Unfortunately there was building work going on next door, which is a shame.

Bed is comfort. Swimming pool is not large but happy to have a pool with nice view. Hotel is not far from airport and need to drive or take bus to city centre. Hotel provides shuttle bus to nearest breach as long as booked with staff in advance.

Very clean room and bathroom - everything worked well and the bathroom was new. The garage was very useful

No balconies, very small pool and very misleading pool photo on Internet.

Quick check-in. Very friendly hotel staff trying to help. Very tasty breakfast. Swimming pool with sea view. Free underground parking. Free shuttle to the city center. Very tasty food in the restaurant for dinner. Beautiful new renovated room.

Balcony of the room overlooking noisy building site.The special buffet on the first night was overpriced, small buffet not too good but the main meal of beef was tough and chewy, inedible. Because of this we didnt eat at the restaurant on other evenings.Booked the shuttle into town but we were made to get out of the shuttle as they couldnt find our booking. Manager implied it was our fault and offered no apology.

A modern, very well-kept hotel. Large rooms equipped with everything you need on vacation. Tasty breakfasts, swimming pool with a bar, location close to the airport and the center.
