About
Located in the plains of La Mancha, this Parador provides pretty grounds with a swimming pool, and is an ideal setting for enjoying outdoor activities. Enjoy the ranch-like architecture of the Parador Albacete which has a pretty, covered gallery leading around the hotel with terracotta tiling and a wooden roof. Soak up the fresh air and sunshine which La Mancha enjoys most of the year, before having a swim in the Albacete pool. You can swim and listen to the sounds of nature thanks to the hotel’s tranquil, rural setting. Enjoy an afternoon siesta or a good book in the shade of the Albacete’s garden trees. After exploring the sights, relax with a fabulous meal in the handsome dining room. You can accompany traditional dishes from the region with a fine Spanish wine followed by a choice of desserts.

Pros +
- Lovely staff. Lovely breakfast. Lovely restaurant
- Location Style
- Easy access to/from the freeway, free parking, good beds, nice balcony(despite it being cool and rainy on our day there, would have been great to sit outside on a nice day), thick bath towels and very quiet for sleeping as this Parador sits outside Albacete in the countryside. The restaurant is top quality and excellent food and service as we have come to expect from Paradores. We would go back again for an overnight just for the restaurant.
Cons -
- Staff very rigid not guest oriented some tools are n’est the freeway do very noisy
- Upon arrival, our room smelled like backed up sewer and we almost went to ask for a different room. We decided to open up the balcony doors (even though it was chilly) and let the room air out for a few hours while we went to the cafeteria for a late lunch. The smell was mostly gone by the time we went to bed. You must have a car if you want to get into Albacete as it's much too far to walk. Prices are quite high for drinks and food in the cafeteria.
- This was my first Parador experience. No air conditioning. I felt I was camping, hot and surrounded by insects.

This was my first Parador experience. No air conditioning. I felt I was camping, hot and surrounded by insects.
Interesting building and nicely designed rooms.Very clean and quiet. Excellent for resting.Location: far from the town and nowhere to walk other than the roads.Breakfast good but in general an over priced hotel.David Hulme
Location was excellent as we were travelling . Easy to find with a lot of good parking. The rooms were very spacious and well furnished The beds extremely comfortable
The bathroom need attention - broken floor tiles. Awkward climbing into the narrow bath to access the shower. To upgrade to a shower would be much safer and friendly to use.
It looked the part. Convenient to highway.
It was pleasant for a one night stop…not a place to stay for several days.
A charming hotel. The room (a superior double) was excellent. We had booked half board and the food in the restaurant was very good. It was the perfect hotel for our stopover.
I found the bed a little too hard.
Room size. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly
Old TV, small, not channel variety, very bad image, no possible to regulate. Should be replaced. No coffee boiler.Wifi weak signal For a 4 stars hotel I would say it’s not acceptable.
The Parador was very confortable and of a charming homely architecture. The Staff were pleasant.Breakfast: good variety of choice.
Like most paradores paradores, the central heating is over hot and even turning the controls down takes a long time to make the room confortable.
Excellent location after long drive, nice just to relax
Rather a long walk from disabled car patking into the hotel, could have been bad for person with limited walking if wet. Staff very helpful with umbrella on leaving in pouring rain
Beautifully clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was superb and the staff were fantastic
Beautiful period building, good but expensive breakfast.
Prices in the restaurant are way above those in the surrounding area. There was a sewer smell in the room.
Beautiful property. Super clean, bed comfortable. Staff are very helpful, both reception and restaurant. Restaurant evening meal delicious and worth the price. Didn't have breakfast (so can not state if good or not).
Hubby would have liked a larger portion of the main course. Airbase nearby. It was very noisy from 8am until later evening. Some guests were not abiding by the non-smoking policy by hanging out of the window and smoking, which is a shame.
Staff friendly and food was good. Very good location just off the motorway but quiet. Nice gardens
Good location for the motorwayand a very comfortable hotel
There was noise coming from the air conditioning unit but the staff explained that it was being fixed
Lovely and warm on a cold January day.Comfy beds and quiet room.Good breakfast and friendly staff
It is a quiet hotel because of its lay-out. The breakfast is excellent with enough choise for everybody. The receptionists are friendly and efficiently. The cafetaria is also very handy when, after a day of activities, you want a drink and a bite.
Great location near the A30. Good sized rooms . Quiet. Very helpful reception staff. Good value.
Restaurant is pricey and breakfast is especially expensive. No menu del dia available only expensive a la carte.
The hotel is amazing. Very clean. Beds incredibly comfortable, but what really made it were the staff, professional, friendly, welcoming
Bathroom needs updating, shower in bath is outdated, and quilt would be better on bed than blankets
