Pros +
- The staff at the restaurants were excellent and all food was delicious with attentive service. The valet service was also wonderful.
- The Decor and setting was so beautiful. Staff were so helpful too. Bedrooms were simply stunning. We had a garden facing balcony terrace which was a really nice place to have a pre-dinner drink.
- Beautiful pool, rooms and decor. Delicious breakfast. Easy to get to the beach.
Cons -
- When we asked for additional complementary bottles of water on our last day, a senior person at reception indicated it would be 5 Euros per bottle of filtered water - given the very high rates for our stay this was very disappointing and soured our whole stay experience which had been excellent apart from that
- We arrived to the end of a wedding - the weding party had rented the entire hotel for the previous few days. We were notified of this a week or two beforehand but as we had paid the non cancellation rate we had not real option of changing our booking. Anyway it didn't impact too much apart from we had to drop our bags and leave the premises for a few hours which we didn't mid but would have preferred not to have had. The most dissappointing thing for us was the drilling from the nearby construction that was so loud that we couldn't tolerate the private beach platform area - this was a real shame as it looked beautiful. In addition, the breakfast we felt could have been better for an exclusive hotel. We had just come from another hotel in NICE which had a far better breakfast in terms of options and service.
- Staff are not trained as 5-star and rooms are not sound proof. Multiple request were messed up, food & drinks charged wrong or had to ask multiple times. Some staff did not proactively try to help or offer services. One interaction was particularly weird - when I asked for an iron or steamer for a dress, I was informed only the suites had those but they could loan for 150 euro. For a 5-star to not have that already in the room AND make me feel bad for not being in a suite or that I would take it? It was off-putting… other small things. Unfortunate but gave an overall disappointing feel to the experience.

Quiet and clean, elegant
Good breakfast
The property and location were great. The solarium is another highlight. Alain in the Solarium was super helpful and friendly (with a lot of local knowledge). He told us about the area and recommended some lunch and dinner spots (which we really enjoyed). The hotel grounds are gorgeous and it’s a small hotel, which we liked. The pool is also very nice!
The rooms need updating for a five star hotel (I understand some work will be done starting in October). Front desk staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. Concierge was not helpful either - we wanted help to travel to st tropez and they confirmed what we knew - no boat that day but they didn’t provide any other options (we ended up doing this alone online).
Nice rooms
The service was horrible . They also didn’t contact me back when I mailed them about forgotten stuff in the room
The gardens are exceptional
Toilet without hand washing basin very uncomfortable furniture good staff but pour old fashion food
It’s like staying in a private villa. The property is beautiful and the food wonderful . Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a private solarium right across the street that has access to the beach.
I wish there had been an iron in the room.
Nice building, pool and gardens
Very dated decor, far too expensive for the standard. Staff were nice but not all of them well trained.
The hotel, grounds and beach are absolutely beautiful.
Breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive. Very poor experience
Poor facilities, poor customer services, dated decor. Should not be a Relais Chateaux
comfortable bedclean pool areagreat food in restaurant friendly staff
beach club had no atmosphere little service and not with a smile would benefit from food serviceone small towel only per bed breakfast choice was quite limited
locationaccess to beach
no gymno iron in roomfood was not tastybreakfast had ants on itac was not working and the weather was hotI didn’t get discount for the ac incident bathroom was leaking water from the sealing
Fabulous place to stay, great staff, they really make you feel at home. A lot of 5 star guests don't have a conversation with them. You should!!! They are very nice people. I especially salute Daria, who comes from Ukraine and despite the difficult circumstances her family is living in, she makes you feel at home. Courage my dear lady. Guy and Fran, the "Belgians"
nothing !
horrible. not recommended at all.
the service was horrible. the food had rotten taste and was expired. the staff didn’t even listen to our feedback. when we asked to check out earlier, they didn’t accept and didn’t even apologize. it was the worst experience
Swimmingpool Cozy room
Small room
The hotel was excellent in every way. Beautiful room, pool and facilities and really good service from all the staff. We would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the Antibes area. The location was excellent too.
There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel.
The location is perfect with private access leading to Garoupe Beach. The hotel is peaceful and perfect for unwinding, the staff are attentive, friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. Food is exceptional and prices in line with other restaurants in the area. This is a lovely hotel.
Wonderful facility and garden area, quiet place to relax. Old french luxury!
Bathroom tend to be smelly. Overall a bit pricy for what it has to offer. Especially the beach restaurant.
Air conditioning was not working. After 2 nights with no cold air , they moved us to a different room.. TV not working... we didn't go there to watch TV but for 1100 euro per night you expect just more!
