Best Western Hotel Journel Antibes

there is underground secure parking for a few, the room is nice and has makings for coffee; they serve breakfast only, no dinner and we had a hard time after 8 pm finding a place within walking distance to eat; has elevators

just that after dark there wasn’t much to find to eat within walking distance

Its my 1010 time i stayed at this hotel. Every time I fell in love more and more with this place and people. Clean, quite, lovely welcoming staff, going extra mile to make your stay smooth. Love the location / love everything / its my second home

A bit confusing when you first check in, you cannot enter the parking area in front of the lobby and the college next to it makes it hard to find street parking

Good breakfast

Room was lacking in decor - not aesthetically pleasing.bathroom looked updated but not the room.

The rooftop is absolutely incredible — an amazing place with stunning vibes. The cocktails are crafted to perfection, the food looks (and tastes) delicious, and the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. Honestly, there’s no need to go anywhere else to start your evening… unless you’re in the mood for something crowded or heading to a club later. ✨

A bit small for the room

The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location was very central we could walk to Antibes old city in 15 mins.

We reserved 2 bedrooms and it would have been nice to be next to each other.

An okay hotel, good location (~15 min from old town), bad breakfast

Breakfast was pretty bad. Not many options, found myself having one mediocre croissant each day for a week, guess it's a French breakfast but not very international. One day the coffee maker was broken.

Amazingly comfortable bed and pillows, friendly staff, parking.

Location. Weird neighborhood.

The location was inconvenient and difficult to get to. The room was climate controlled and too warm. The rooftop deck was in need of repair. We found broken wine glass and the fake grass was uneven and easy to trip over. There was nowhere close for dinner so we ate at the rooftop restaurant. The service was terrible, the food was mediocre and the wine was bad. Even though we reserved the room for 2 nights, we left after one.

Good car parking within hotel grounds. Very pleasant reception staff. Bright and modern building and rooms. Comfortable bed. Our room on the top floor had a large terrace. and the roof terrace overlooking the surrounding area was a bonus! Antibes and Juan Les Pins both close to hotel, just a few minutes by car, Antibes Beach 10/12 mins downhill, longer up! Town a little further. Juan Les Pins slightly closer.

The breakfast could be more well organised - first day not much available, second day a lot better! Immediate location surrounded by buildings but fairly quiet.

The rooms were nicely designed and the bathrooms in particular, more of a homely feel than a usually clinical hotel bathroom. Staff were really friendly and approachable. Quiet considering the location. Good parking.

The roof tap bar was closed. The breakfast area didn’t look inviting so we didn’t use it (one day we were in a rush anyway).

The staff was very good and helpful. The room was very well cleaned and the shower was excellent.

The breakfast was under average. Should have been more selection. The bar at the rooftop was a bit noisy until almost midnight over the weekend.

The location was excellent, the staff were very helpful, rooms superb, breakfast was shocking and it would of been helpful not to of had to ask the room staff for coffee, sugar, cream and water everyday.

It’s a good 15 mins walk to Antibes old town. Quite a hilly walk back.

The location on a hill amongst blocks of flats and opposite a large school. The underground parking has very narrow twisting slope to go up and down. Our superior room was smaller than expected and didn’t reach our expectations of a superior room or look like the photo.
