Wifi didn't work

The room was very small for four persons, and the shower was much smaller than what were used to at hotels.

Customer service and location.

Woman at the desk was very nice and welcoming. She went over how to get breakfast and WiFi, etc. The elevator worked well as did the air conditioning.

Couldn't open the window, even to let in light because of a metal blind on the outside. Kind of weird. The power in the room went out for an hour, but not in the hall outside. Not sure what the problem was and the woman at the desk was unaware of the issue.

Was stranded in Ventimiglia due to car breakdown, found this hotel by chance but would recommend it if I was ever there again. Friendly staff, excellent location beside the beach, good breakfast, nice cafe next door and supermarket in the next block, right beside train station.

Where does one start

Where does one start. I'm visiting my daughter, who is working on a super yacht in Ventimiglia marina. My daughter accompanied me to the hotel where we were confronted by the man behind reception who implied my daughter was a prostitute ? he asked for her id and actually took a picture, explaining it might be for the police ?. Went to the room, and it smelled of sewage, had damp on the wall and ceiling. Went to reception and asked if they had another room. The response was for him to come to the room, leave, and return with an air freshener! Couldn't get plugs in sockets, tv and fridge tiny and electrical unit for the whole hotel on the wall in the room? Building work with large hole by the outside patio area! Ajoining Toilet had another external door to the hall. Wardrobe drawers broken. When leaving, the female receptionist got a summary of above. The bed was clean and comfortable.

The WiFi connection was very weak.

The front desk was very friendly and it’s not far from the train station, about a 15 min walk.

The property is not worth the price. The shower was for sure the lowest point as there was neither warm water nor any water pressure.

quadruple room suited our needs as a family of four was close enough to the train station for us to walk

no complaints it is a budget hotel and we understand you get what you pay for

Clean sheets and soft towels

It is on a busy road really noisy and the worst thing is next door a gym so from 4 pm to 10 pm beat music for the exercise classes

Nothing! “It was only one night” I kept saying!

The fact that you had to be rung into the building in the middle of the day. That was a huge alarm and no doubt a security issue. No wifi in the rooms. Wifi was difficult if you had an apple produce. My bathroom had mold in the shower. The facilities need to be updated in a whole. The breakfast was lacking and very minimal for 8 Euros.

Location was great as well as the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast provides a good variety for its price.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was big enough for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable.Good value for the money.

We could hear the noise from outside through the closed windows.If you are a foreigner like us and you don’t know Ventimiglia the location of the hotel is a bit far from the city center and at night seemed a bit unsafe.

Nice beachside location. Couldn't check in early, strictly 3pm on the dot! Bed frame at the foot was broken and hanging on for dear life. Bathroom was so small, toilet squeezed right next to even smaller shower stall. Not comfortable at all. Toilet and bathroom was clean but ventilation poor. Creaky wooden cupboard. Noise next door very loud including conversations and toilet flushing. Poor sound proofing. Old fashion door key to access room, but odd locking mechanism and have to turn key multiple times before door opens. Heater worked nicely. Lots of bins inside the room! They let us stash our luggage before and after check out but no real security or proper storage room. Also the attendants not always at the reception desk so you need a code to enter the hotel at certain hours.

It's a nice hotel but quite far from the railway station.Ventimiglia is a great city, especially the old town "Ventimiglia Alta" and the view point of Belvedere San Michele.

The male receptionist wasn't very friendly when I came earlier that the (very late) check-in time which is at 15.00. In other hotels they always check if the room might already be ready but he didn't bother. Just looked at me if I was stupid to enter so early. Luckily I could leave my back bag there and then returned and checked in later.

Parking: not included as advertised, a fee was required and is not secured.

The bed was reasonably comfortable

NOTHING! like it was described on Booking.com When we arrived, the reception was closed. We were met by a cleaner, who rudely told us to come at 3 pm. We asked if we could leave our bags and were met by an abrupt no and the door being closed in our face. The air-conditioning did not work. First,we were told by reception that she would contact the director. Then we were told it had been switched to heat for the upcoming winter[ the controls are in the room], and then we were told it didn't work and were given a fanAlthough we don't use the mini bar, there was nothing in the little fridge as described on Booking.com The wifi was virtually non-existent it dropped out all the time and was constantly under 10mbps.We were told by the lady at reception that it was working fine and it must have been our devices.When you are trying to contact employees of your company and a daughter that is planning a wedding this is not acceptable.We had to climb under a table on hands and knees to plug the charger for our devices. Yes, there were sockets near the bed, but they were behind the beside table and had lamps plugged into them. The shower door had been broken sometime prior to our arrival and replaced with a curtain. The curtain was almost brown across the bottom, not white, like the rest on the curtain, where it hit the floor. It was also so long that .it covered the drain. I know some of these things may be trivial, but I expect what is in the brochure and what I pay for.Booking.com needs to inspect the properties they have listed to make sure they are . I would like someone from Booking. Com to contact me regarding this matter

Location was perfect!

I didn’t get enough sleep because, the room beside was up early around 5am he/she walking and arranging some chairs & table continuously. It was annoying. Bathroom needs to be clean throughly
