Hôtel Victor Hugo

A nice distance from Mont Saint Michele ( about 5 kilometers), glad we didn’t stay at MSM as the hotels were very small and people were lugging their suitcases up many steps. A marvelous Italian/Franco restaurant right next door with a great menu and excellent service. As Canadians with little French spoken both places had English speaking staff. Lots of parking around the back of the hotel, keep a sharp eye for the entrance.

Can’t say one thing that we didn’t like, perhaps some hair shampoo in the lovely bright clean bathroom. One other thing, if street traffic bothers you, ask for a garden view room.

Nice room, nice garden, on the heart of Pontorson, very close from Mount Saint Michelle.

The room was spacious but it did not have a coffee machine or a kettle for a tea at night.

Beautiful and chic design and presentation , very welcoming staff.

Very noisy street during the night/ early morning with no options to cancel out sound … the windows did not block any noise…

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable. I recommend this hotel immensely. Avery charming place! They make you feel like you're at home. The breakfast is wonderful. they had crepes. orange juice, apple juice. great french cheeses, pastries, everything your heart would desire.

I couldn't find anything I didn't like about the hotel and the staff. everything was wonderful!

Very nice building with high quality interior and a wonderful garden, parking space in the back, funny 1-man-elevator, a bar and breakfast. Very centrally located in the middle of Pontromm

It could be even better if the rooms had a small fridge/minibar and guests could bring in something to eat and drink as the bar is only open until 9 pm.

Good location.

We were given a room for handicapped guest meaning a shower to accommodate a wheelchair. Oddly, the room was so small it's surprising someone with a wheelchair could fit.

There were no tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast not very appealing.

Delightful small hotel with lovely garden in Main Street of Pontorson. Good restaurants nearby. Take the shuttle or rent

Location was perfect. Great for bike riders, safe secure parking.

Very comfortable bed with high thread count bedding and good pillows. Parking on site and good bike storage. Very good breakfast.

Only a Bath in the newly renovated bathroom with a shower hand held attachment. No shower curtain so a quick shower is not an option.

Absolutely amazing experience ❤️ Wonderful staff, beautiful room. The garden was so beautiful and peaceful. The continental breakfast was excellent. The lift is something to see and was so much fun! Le Mont St Michel was a ten minute drive from this wonderful hotel ? Would highly recommend this amazing hotel to everyone ?

There were no negatives at all

This hotel took us in with a days notice after a hotel we booked canceled on us less than 24 hours before we were supposed to stay. They had a very comfortable bed and friendly staff. The hotel was very quaint and had everything we needed.

Wifi was a bit spotty at times.

The staff were lovely , couldn’t be more accommodating .The back garden was a lovely area to chill in after a day touring.A wonderful location if you want to do the long riverside walk to mont. s michel

There is no shower (just hand held) but mostly the problem is the toilet - it’s far too high! My feet don’t touch the floor when I sit on it, same for both rooms we’ve stayed in now ?

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Bilingual and super nice.

Elevator is very small (one person, no bags or one bag, no people). Toilet seat was very high.

The room was comfy and clean. I don't eat breakfast, but the receptionist made me a latte in the morning, which was very nice.

Having a 24 hour reception area is nice when you are travelling solo, Had to enter the back of the property at night.

Clean modern good location if you visit mont s. Michel. Parking available.

They do not provide shampoo.There is a 1 person elevator tube.
