Pros +
- Quaint French boutique hotel with lots of charm. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive and the room was very clean. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
- We loved the charm, history, staff and breakfast at this hotel. The reception desk, the stairway, and the sitting room with a bar give you the feeling you are stepping back a few hundred years in time. The same with the breakfast room, where we were seated at a reserved table having made arrangements the night before. The breakfast buffet was like the picture on the hotel website and there were egg options also. The staff was very personable and helpful. In our room The bathroom was small, but everything was modern, clean and worked well. We parked for free in a city parking lot 1 block away as the staff mentioned. Like many European hotels, there was no air conditioning. We had a tasty dinner at the creperie across the street, tho we had the mussels and lasagna. We found a convenient gas station a couple blocks away which was a treat given the hassle of finding gas stations in other cities.
- Terrible hotel
Cons -
- No complaints.
- Hello everyone! When we arrived at the hotel, we found that the rooms were filled with an incredibly stuffy smell, and it was completely impossible to air them out.On the morning of the second day, I discovered numerous bedbug bites — they had truly feasted on me!When I was leaving the hotel, I showed the massive bite marks at the reception. The clerk called the manager, who, instead of apologizing, began by saying that it was strange that I had not reported the bites earlier, but only upon check-out!I asked him to treat guests with proper respect instead of doubting their honesty. We left the hotel and saw the manager running after us. We thought he wanted to apologize, but it turned out he only wanted to advise me to go to a pharmacy and buy a cream for bedbug bites!I could never have imagined that in civilized 21st-century France such negligence could occur! This hotel should be closed and thoroughly disinfected to eliminate the insect infestation.P.S. The hotel manager promised that, as compensation, I would be refunded for the two nights I had spent at the hotel. I hope he keeps his word.Arina Alexandrov

Staff and convenient location for visiting Mont Saint-Michel.
Room was old, dated, had to climb stairs with heavy luggage.
Although we had rainy weather there was an awesome court yard available, and a breakfast room with great views and food. They handled gluten free well. We loved the old old building. The location is great within the town itself.
The room was very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The manager was helpful with recommendations.
Superb location in the heart of Pontorson, the hotel is an ideal base for Mont Saint-Michel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. Good breakfast.
An older property (1557 ?), the common areas show some wear. That said, the room was modern and well-appointed.
If you like antics, its great.
Smelly a bit, not the best layout of the rooms, require renovation
We loved the building with its rich history and its location so close to Mont Saint Michel. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is probably the best Best Western I've ever been in! If you're a tourist looking to stay at fun unique places don't think this is just your average best western. It's a unique hotel with a brand name!
really nice small hotel in a great location for visiting Mont St Michelle - dog friendly - easy on street parking outside of the hotel - typical rural linear village with useful shops and restaurants within a few hundred meters.
Location: it’s 8-10 mins walk from Pontorson railway station, from where you could go to Mont Saint-Michel by No 2 bus. If you want to go hiking from the hotel to Saint-Michel, it probably takes 2 hours, trust me the view is great! Community: very quiet and there are many restaurants, you’d enjoy the food. Room: very clean and comfortable. Staff: BW staffs are excellent and extremely friendly and wonderful! They helped us with check in, getting us the bus schedule, and recommending good restaurants. Thank you all so much :)
WiFi is kind of slow.
Small quiet hotel in historical building. Easy and free parking nearby. All members of personnel nice and helpful at any level. Special thanks to lady at the reception who was taking care of our wellbeing all the time. We do not have her name but she was an exceptional example of good staff. Caring, softly speaking, really a diamond for the hotel business. Nice breakfast in stylish location.
Nothing in particular.
location, charm of hotel were very welcoming The room was comfortable and hotel had a great hearty breakfastWe were able to have a much needed relaxing rest after driving from Paris on our way to Mont St Michelstaff very friendly and helpful, exceeded my expectations
due late arrival had issues finding proper parking
This hotel is lovely and old fashioned, our room was comfortable and clean, and very quiet. we really enjoyed our breakfast too. The car park is just around the corner, it is a public car park, but it felt safe leaving our car there.
The hotel is an historic old charming building. It is well located, easily reachable from the train station. Nice inner courtyard. People welcoming and nice. In general nice environment. Good breakfast, even if from other previous comments I expected something more. It is pet friendly but the pet is charged by night.
It is an old building. So of course the room was pretty small. Bathroom in the room but with no forced ventilation and no privacy from the room (can ear all the sounds). It is ok if you have a strong bond with the person you are traveling with and you feel comfortable with it.
It’s location and staff
The WC in our room was so tightly packed in its own compartment it gave you no leg room.
Old building from XVI th century.Great old rooms with wooden beams on ceiling, nicely composed furnitures.Staying there is like trip to very old times.
In very hot days air condition would be nice to have but not a must.
Small room, tiny bathroom, awful WiFi
Lovely historical building and close to town and restaurants.
Lack of electrical sockets.
Perfect for our one night stay. Great location, friendly staff, and a lovely courtyard.
