Hotel Vauban Briançon Serre Chevalier

Terrific stay in Briancon, very comfortable rooms with great free parking and very friendly & helpful staff. Plus they have a locked bike room for those with a bike. I would definitely stay here again!

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! Our room had a lovely balcony. The staff were very friendly. The free parking is great!

It is a bit of an uphill trek to the old town. The bathroom has an odd internal window opening (without glass) into the bedroom.

Very accommodating staff and large rooms. Excellent but pricey breakfast.

Our group with 9 rooms was super happy with this overnight stay. Parking was easy, and the rooms clean and pretty! A Hot water pot with coffee and tea was provided and our room had a balcony. Staff was welcoming and helpful! The beds were very comfortable and large bathrooms.

The breakfast was a bit pricey at 15 euros, so we just had the mini breakfast with coffee and croissants… Next time we will negotiate a better price for 11 travellers…

Perfect stop for bikers—friendly reception on arrival, secure garage parking for my motorbike, helpful local tips, and ideal location after riding the best passes in the area. Close to restaurants and right in the city center.

The staff was really nice and responding. The room was confortable and clean. The hotel is closed to the Prorel and the train station.

Ski room is too small

A minor issue with a group of men who were on a ski trip was that the bar did not open after 10.00p for 2 of the nights of our stay. I do realise that the hotel need to cater for the majority of the guests and so whilst we would have preferred the bar to stay open a little later, we did find an alternative.

Very cosy room with very useful furniture items. The people at the reception are extremely friendly and kind. They offered great advice for restaurants and let us use the ski room and parking lot after checkout.

The mattress is quite soft. The hot water didn’t work properly all the time.

Lovely modern hotel right in the middle of the new town with private car park and close enough to the lift to be able to walk with skis. Really welcoming and very friendly helpful management/staff. Clean, large and well appointed rooms.

The staff are wonderful with great local knowledge of skiing and local history and culture

For some reason the breakfast buffet is part self service and part served. Don’t understand why we couldn’t serve ourselves for the whole meal

The reception staff were very friendly.Room was a good size with comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was a good size with great shower and a separate toilet.Tea and coffee facilities available.

Paper cups instead of proper cups for tea/coffee.Room temperature too high, then too noisy with window open.Breakfast was expensive.
