Simple room up two flights of stairs

Restaurant was closed but we were not told in advance. Very difficult to find somewhere to eat in the old town.Public parking is 350 metres away on a very steep hill. Hard work carrying bags.

Located in the old historic village, with beautiful spacious rooms and very helpful staff, who helped us with food etc. when we turned up tired and late. We would come back here again and spend longer.

My only suggestion is to include some information about the parking which was a little confusing.

Access is not easy - traffic-free historical town

Beautiful in the old town.

There was a fete on in the old town, however hadn't been informed, had to park outside the old town and walk in with all our luggage. Just would have been good to be prepared for this.

It is very quaint and quiet.

Be aware you have to park and walk with your luggage from outside the town to downtown which is pedestrian. About 5-10 minutes. It wasn’t an issue for us but might be for someone else.

The room was warm and nice, the restaurant downstairs was good and we slept very well

There was a lot of dust below the bed, there was not a hot blanket in the crib for our baby and breakfast was too expensive (in our opinion).

check in was problematic , the receptionist in the evening was not helpful at all or willing to provide any solution to the wrong bed set up in the triple room - 3 single beds requested but on check in was 1 double and 1 single . After the management got involved ( after an hour) the situation was resolved quickly. - thank you !

Very cozy hotel in the middle of Briançon. the hotel ia quite typical and serves a very good breakfast. staff was also very gentle. Bed was very comfortable

a bit old but still stylish. the room was not smelling super good but nothing to bad. it could be freshened up a bit

What a lovely little hotel, our room was wonderful and very comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it and we will book again.

The location is superb, staff very pleasant ,friendly and helpful. There's a lovely restaurant attached .The breakfast was very good too.

Located in the city center, clean

Poor accessibility (no elevator) + the staff told us this was a hotel for people with good legs.The city was not accessible due to an event and the hotel did not warn us. We had to drag our luggage from the parking to the hotel and from reception to second floor. Poor infrastructure and staff.

Fantastic location in the walled citadel city. Very charming and rustic. Great staff and restraunt on location.

The staff were terrific and very welcoming - they were completely faultless. The breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. This is a great way to visit Briancon and to see the high Alpes.

My booking with Booking.Com said I had booked an air conditioned room when in fact the hotel has no such rooms. Some local traffic and parking guidance in advance would have been helpful

Great location, very nice staff. The hotel is a right in the middle of the Cité Vauban and has a lot of charm..

We both loved absolutely everything about our stay here. It is located in the old town centre, very close from the parking. The room is old style and provides you with the necessary comfort. We were glad to have found this stay, as we booked it on the go while travelling from Annecy.

The position

Uncomfortable room, with distorted floor, and Uncomfortable bed

Staff was very kind and helpful.Location is brilliant - the hotel is in the heart of the old townRoom was very spacious.

Room could have been more clean. It was also quite disturbing to see that the room service was leaving what seemed to be clean towels on the floor.. It seems like there was a lot of partying going around the hotel although I'm not sure if it was a neighbor or a pub.

The hotel is in the middle of the fortified old centre of Briançon. The staff was super friendly (especially the ladies at the front desk). Dogs are very welcome and the rooms we booked were spacious and comfortable. Lots of great places to eat around the hotel. The breakfast is great at €10! Also, the restaurant (Carpe Diem) serves a great dinner (if it’s open).

It is a small walk up/downhill to the public parking (which is free after putting a hotel voucher in the windscreen).

Excellent location and a comfortable, well managed and maintained Auberge.
