Hôtel Cristol

Exceptionally friendly and very helpful staff contributed to a great stay, who went out of their way to help accommodate a last minute stay extension due to bad weather. The room and bathroom are basic but have all the essentials, are clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is of good quality. The hotel has a monitored indoor bicycle storage area which is very secure as it can only be unlocked internally by the staff. The hotel is very well located for the old city of Briançon which is within an easy 5 minute walk.

Lovely location next to the old town. Beds were comfortable and showers powerful and hot. Staff were very friendly.

For summer the location is perfect but for winter sports the hotel is up a tall hill so a car is necessary to transport snowsport equipment. there is a car park at the hotel however and there is a ski equipment room too! It was very convenient with a car. No mini fridge or kettle provided in the rooms.

Staff were very helpful and provided another room due to mobility difficulties. Room was clean and bed comfortable, breakfast offered was good with a range of choices which could be taken on the balcony looking over part of the old town, hotel located a short walking distance from the old town, restaurants were also available close by as was a very good wine and spirit shop which we took advantage of.

The building is in disrepair. The interiors have lived a long and useful life but need some love.

Friendly welcome and parking for our motorcycle at the rear.Several good restaurants nearby and the old town only a short walk away.

Asked for a quite room when booking but not what we got, ours was on the main road.When queried I was told rooms at the rear of the property were for long staying guests.The room photos on B.com do not include the one we stayed in, if I had known in advance what we were getting I would not have made the booking.Verging on misreprestation

The location was excellent, placed strategically very close to the old town. It was very clean and has a dedicated free parking for motorbikes (don't know about cars).

No airconditioning, which forced us to keep the balcony door open. Unfortunately, the room faced the street, and with the intense traffic outside, we didn't catch any sleep.

The hotel is very close to the Vauban city which is ideal. Provides ample parking for both cars, motos, and bicycles. Staff is clean and helpful. Decent breakfast. Nice balconies with views for the most part.

Our door didn't lock particularly well but not really much of a concern.

Room was a bit tired but very clean. Breakfast was good, location is great. Good off road private parking for motorcycles. I'd stay again. Staff were brilliant. Nice view too. Also slept well.

great location, easy walking to historic town, we had a room at the back, everything we needed, large room, free motorbike parking to the rear of the property, breakfast was great, great hosts who spoke english, thank you. lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. fantastic would stop here again
