    Pros +

    • We had such a great stay at this new and modern hotel. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and provided excellent customer service.
    • It was an amazing stay! The location of the hotel is absolutely fabulous, the staff extremely nice, the facilities were excellent! We were upgraded to rooms with a sea view which was absolutely spectacular and the sky bar is to die for!The staff at the beach bar was really nice as well and the prices were super decent! We loved our stay!
    • Enjoyed the included meals and sauna. Only thing is the beach, you should really include the seats and drinks in the all inclusive

    Cons -

    • Some things to know in advance. You need to bring or buy a towel for the beach, as the hotel won’t let you take theirs. Don’t go to the Talia beach where you have to pay for a sunbed and beach umbrella anyway. It’s not a good beach. Walk a couple of more steps to the Raffaelo beach. It’s much nicer. Be there early as they run out of sunbeds. You can reserve a sunbed in the first line a day in advance. Be ready to pay 6 euros for a sunbed and 3 euro for the umbrella every day. There are no private beaches in the area. Just add this amount and don’t spoil your vacation over this!
    • 1. TV in our room didnt work (this wasnt important for us).2. Hair dryer didnt work (also not important for us).3. Free drinks are only from plastic containers.4. In the menu it is written that you can order a coke, but you get a drink from a machine that doesn't taste like coke.5. We didnt get a room with sea view.6. Beds are a little tight.

Very nice clean hotel with wonderful staff ready to help you every step of the way. We had an apartment type of a room. It fits 3 people. Overall a good size room with a balcony and a big drying board. However, the room has very limited shelving space for your clothes. Not a big deal. The only problem is that the A/C is in the part of the room with 2 beds. The other room with a door doesn’t have an A/C, so basically you can’t close the door. The food was excellent with a huge variety of deserts. Meat was mostly pork with 1-2 dish of chicken and beef. There were plenty of vegetables and vegetarian options. Our room was always cleaned on time. All inclusive option allows you to have drinks in the bar.Sauna and pool are very nice. Unfortunately, the close at 6 pm.

We had a very pleasant stay at Talia Hotel in Herceg Novi and would gladly recommend it to others. The hotel was freshly renovated in 2023, so everything feels modern, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent: just cross the road and you’re on the promenade with easy access to several beaches. The area is lively, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops, and the prices in Herceg Novi are quite reasonable, especially compared to other coastal towns in Montenegro. The hotel has its own beach area, which is convenient, though it comes with an extra cost (15 euro for a “Komplet” two sunbeds and an umbrella). Right next to it, there is a sandy beach (18 euro per Komplet), and a bit further is the Rafaello beach, which is a bit more upscale (20 euro per Komplet). All prices were valid as of 2025.The food at the hotel wasn’t extremely diverse, but it was always very tasty, and we appreciated the quality of what was served. One thing to note is that the sea water here is a bit colder than in, say, Kotor, but it’s still refreshing and very clean. We also enjoyed a boat excursion to Kotor, which cost €40 per person, definitely worth it for the views and the experience.Last but not least, the staff at Talia Hotel were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, we really liked the hotel and would stay there again!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy.

the hotel is close to the sea but dont have a beach and the staff is friendly

the hotel does not have a beach and there are many children in the spa center, it is noisy. the rooms are too small, we didn't have hot water for two days. parking is also a problem because the hotel does not have enough parking spaces. we were in a room on the fourth floor where it was too hot and the air conditioner had to be on all the time.

location was great!! food and spa amazing!!

we ordered apartment of 2 rooms and AC was only in one of them. it was very hot in the second room. and the rooms for 4 people should be bigger

Nice hotel!Very conveniently located — the promenade and the sea are just across the road. Cafés, restaurants, and shops are all nearby. The rooms are new. There's a wonderful spa complex with a spacious indoor pool, three saunas, and a jacuzzi. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and varied, with plenty of desserts.Since it was the beginning of the season, we were upgraded for free to a sea view room and given complimentary access to the parking. And for my birthday, I was surprised at dinner with a huge cake! It was such a pleasant and unforgettable gesture! The biggest advantage of this hotel is the staff! Everyone is simply amazing! Huge thanks to all the employees — the ladies at reception, bartenders, waiters, chefs, spa staff, and of course, the pizza maker ? We never once regretted choosing this hotel!

Missed having orthopaedic pillows, as I’m used to sleeping on them

The hotel itself is lovely. Play areas for the kids. Comfortable beds. Nice view of the sea from our balcony. We really wanted to love this hotel…

There was no hot water in the morning. The staff was mostly unfriendly and unaccommodating. The food was bland and what you find at budget-friendly all-inclusive hotels.

    3Kenan E.Posted on: 5-4-2025

    Fresh omelet for breakfast.

Unbelievably noisy live music till 1 AM in a hotel which boasts as "an oasis of peace" and promoting as good option for families. We did complain and they did refund partially, which is really nice and smart gesture. This is not a place for families or people who believe that hotels should offer quite time after 11 PM.Spa facilities are simply not spacious enough for such a big hotel. The staff overseeing spa and pool is bunch of barely legal teenagers taking photos for Instagram. All staff actually do try to be nice and professional, but overcrowded hotel during First of May holidays is something that requires much more management efforts and facilities maintenance.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! Everything was simply perfect — the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It really felt like every detail was thought through to make guests feel at home.

The only small downside was that during breakfast, some of the drinks in the café would run out because a large group of children was also having breakfast at the same time.Other than that, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely love to come back!

Very nice tidy rooms, excellent food and friendly staff

    10DemushPosted on: 3-21-2025

We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean and spacious. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Spa center was very pleasant bonus. Location of the hotel gave us beautiful views and served as excellent base to walk to both Igalo and Herceg Novi. Staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful.

Now we traditionally go on winter holidays in this beautiful hotel. We are delighted with the service, food, cleanliness and kindness of the people who try to make every moment of our stay unforgettable. Really all recommendations for Hotel Taliu and staff. We are happy to come back every time!

We didn't like the fact that we couldn't stay longer because of work ?

    10MomcilovicPosted on: 2-19-2025

Everything. Staff were so kind, even upgraded us to a room with a better view and extra beds since the hotel wasn't too full. Previous large group of tourists had left just a day earlier. Great location, food, rooms, all clean and modern like new. I even liked art on the walls.

    Can't think of anything really.

    10Gert-janPosted on: 11-8-2024

Very cheap price for such a service. Specially staff that is very kind. At restaurant buffet you have everything you need.

    9NielsPosted on: 10-20-2024

Very nice and recommendable hotel, very close to the beach promenade and close to the old town of Herceg Novi. Part of the hotel is newly renovatated and together with a fully equiped spa and wellness department the premises offers a great atmosfere for relaxing times.

    4MariamPosted on: 10-17-2024

All inclusive hotel. Close to the old town and main sites.

Cleanliness. Rooms weren't clean. Dust everywhere. Towels were unacceptable. We had to change the towels more than twice. Food was ok.
