Hotel Korkyra

It's authentic, moderate size hotel on nice location and it serves perfect food.The pool is also nice, reception works perfect and parking is well organized for this type of hotels.

We should have two entry room cards per family,but this wasn't so big issue.The worst is one older blond server from restaurant, she came few time with some malicious comments like: "Are you finally fed up" :(

The staff at the reception were very nice and polite, super helpful and cute.The staff in the restaurant are amazingly nice and professional, and we have 0 complaints. Ladies and gents working in the restaurant are really nice :)The location is amazing, and the food is also nice. You have a different dinner choice each night and at least 2 different choices, a la cart. The buffet is fair enough, 2 choices of soup and 2 choices of starters, plus amazing plate with fruits and cheese, etc. In total, we had a nice stay and would come back, and definitely, we would recommend this cute hotel to others.

We didn't like dirt on the sofa in our room. The stains on the sofa made us avoid sitting there, not representing at all. It looked really dirty and unhygienic. Also, the floor could be cleaner with no hair on it, as well as the furniture. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very slow and light. We were struggling with washing hands and regular hygiene activities. Last day they fixed it and now it's working well, but for some other guests :) The shower is ok. Also, they don't make bed, and they don't change towels (seems like you have to request that, but we didn't know).

The room was not clean, the dinners were instant, and parking required payment.

Breakfast was really nice, with various and fresh dishes. There are few very good restaurants near by that are offering a lot of options for diner. Beautiful terrace is definitely worth seeing.

Bed is uncomfortable. Sometimes there is weird smell coming from the vent. Wi-Fi was weak in our room.

Nice, maintained hotel, perfect location at the old harbour with marvellous vibes all days.A high appreciation should be directed towards the whole team for the kindness and general hospitality, especially to Marina, Bonita and Pipi. Thank you in wonderful memory!

To short stay ;-(

Location was good and staff were friendly.

The room was not up to 4 star standards and was not clean. I found hand prints in the bathroom, stains on our mattress, and there was mouse poop under our pillow. We were notified that there was in fact a mouse in our room and were relocated to a different room. The breakfast was very bad, the juice was watery, the eggs were not good, the fruit did not look fresh etc. The TV only had one channel and we were only given thick bed sheets for the summer. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable. The swimming pool was also disappointing and was frigid.

It's not up to a hotel, but it's very noisy on the street early in the morning.We were awake at 7 in the morning because of communal workers and neighbors.

Everything - feom the woman that works at he reception, to breakfast and dinner.This is not a 4 star hotel but 2 star. Lazanja fir dinner were without taste, poor brekfast and dinner choice.

This was our second time in Hotel Korkyra and we are definitely coming back ! Hotel is conveniently located in the center of the village. There are possibilities to take a boat towards wonderful Adria Beach or Proizd Island, there is a small shop that sells the local products just around the corner as well as the very best village's restaurant Konoba Bata. We had half board service and were surprised by the dinner choice every evening, food was more than delicious and wines that we had with dinner were simply divine. Hotel staff is nice, all are friendly and polite but the apsolute star of the hotel is Ms. Miranda who works at the restaurant, she should be example to all the Croatian tourist workers, such a lovely and kind person. We had wonderful stay and are looking forward to coming back the next summer.

It would be nice to have a mini bar in the room.

Very friendly staff made it feel like a boutique hotel. Rooms were comfortable although a bit small for the price. Location was very good near restaurants and shops. Pool is great for families.

The location was great and the South African woman at reception was very welcoming and accommodating to us.

A lot of staff came across rude towards us - breakfast was okay but dinner wasn’t great felt very rushed by the serving staff to order food and one time they brought out food that we didn’t want yet and when they brought it back later it was the same dish and was cold as it had been left out - the room was dirty and the cleaning staff didn’t clean the room when they changed the sheets they just put new sheets on the bed - the hotel has great potential but needs a big renovation of facilities and staff.

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of Vela Luka. Their staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The hotel is old and the rooms are very small. The balconies are even smaller and unusable. There is no beach nearby and the pool doesn’t look like anything shown in the photos. The city has limited hotel options so if you are looking for a four star experience, private accommodations may be a better option.

The rooms are small, the outside balconies need a good clean. We used the sauna, there was no water container and it did not heat up to a high enough heat. The pool area smells of sewage and there is not enough shade.For the price of the rooms I personally don’t think it is worth it

The pool was nice and the breakfast was good. It had a good location surrounded by nice restaurants.

The staff was rather unfriendly and unhelpful (especially a woman named Dora). From simple questions about the stay to information about the bus schedule, she was not helpful at all and made it seem like a chore. The waiters had the same sentiment, when we found a huge piece of paper in the grilled vegetables at breakfast they barely even apologized. The rooms were slightly outdated but all together ok.

Very kind personal, good food, swimming pool and terrace with sea wiew.

Beach isn't close, you must go with car or with taxi boat. Taxi boat cost 15 euro per person if you wont to see Proizd (one of the most beautiful island), for the beach cros the hotel it cost just 1 euro but those beach is terrible. Center of Korčula and old town also isn't close, about 40 min driving with car. Beautiful and romantic place but for couple without kids and also not for older people. After seven days a can tell that I have no holiday because almost every day I must go somewhere with car, thinking about nearest beach which can be optional for older mam and for kids.
