Hotel Palazzuolo

One of our favourite hotels to stay at. We paid a little extra for a room with a balcony, and that was worth it because of the view. The pool looked nice, though we didn't use it during our stay, because it was October. Close walk to restaurants and the town square. Free bikes to pedal around, too. We went to the lake to fish, which was beautiful. They say that there are carp in the lake, so bring some canned corn. The breakfast was very good. We had a rental car and found the town to be a good location to drive and see the sights.

No AC!! The owner wouldn’t turn it on. Was extremely hot and uncomfortable in our room, very hard to sleep. Staff found us a fan but were not allowed to turn on the air conditioning. Made our stay very uncomfortable Pigeon poop all over the pool deck that was crusted thereBreakfast wasn’t great, not a lot of selection especially for kids.

Located away from the centre of town, but not a big walk, compensated by fab views and a lovely big pool and garden. Initial room bit underwhelming but we were upgraded and much better - it included a private balcony. Hotel staff were lovely, helpful but always seemed a little overwhelmed. Great bike storage. Everything was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Internet was really poor in our room.

We loved the space and decor. The location outside Orvieto was perfect for our goals. The painting or print that included the twin towers was nice. The bed very comfortable.

Black mold in the shower. A unit number or instructions , A photo of the entrance would have helped.

Able to walk to the town for dinner. Basic room was clean and comfortable.

location was amazing. the view from the bar balcony exceptional. food at the restaurant superb and the waiter that evening was an exceptional host, made it a fantastic experience. highly recommend. if you like hiking plan in advance as there are clearly some amazing trails which we didn't fully explore and wish we had looked into more before.

A clean and comfortable room, with a good bathroom. Very good location, with easy parking. Good breakfast. Recommend.

Breakfast and supper were great! The view is stunning. The office staff was wonderful. I would stay here again!

Pool was great, location was very good, parking was as promised, staff was nice, place was clean.

Rooms are very small - which is OK for 1 night. Evening and breakfast menu were pretty small.

Swimming pool with nice views.Kind staffs helped us to find tennis courts, good restaurants and beautiful villages to visit nearby.

First room the A/C didn't work , moved to different room . Shower screen cracked & shower door broken, hard to open . Manageress a bit stern , not friendly.

It is our third time coming here. I believe this speaks a lot.it is the perfect location for visiting the Orcia Valley, it is family friendly, pretty clean & the staff are nice & welcoming. The included breakfast was a plus.The pool & surroundings are niceThe views are fantastic from the premises

The internet was of an incredibly poor quality in our room. Absolutely zero unless u stood in front of the door with it open.We addressed the situation & we were led on until we gave up asking (no internet till the end).Breakfast has limited choices. Nothing has changed in one years’ time even though i can see a lot of people complained. A boiled egg & some vegetables would have been nice during our 8 night stay. They are understaffed and the poor workers could barely attend to the tourists’ needs during the morning rush.

It looks better than the pictures, I was pleasantly surprised at the Tuscan feel of the surrounding nature of the hotel. It is close to a small town (15 min walk) that has some nice restaurants

Everything was great pretty much, however there wasn’t breakfast options for lactose intolerant people. My friend who was with me could only take lactose intolerant milk with cereal every day.

Beautiful property in a very peaceful location with an absolutely amazing view! The pool and garden at sunset ... just wow!

The hotel's restaurant required dinner reservations, which was a surprise seeing that we were guests there. Unfortunately, we were told there was no more availability despite the restaurant not appearing full.

Upon checking in I was told that guests must wear & purchase bathing caps for pool use and if you want a pool towel you must pay 3.50€. Never in all my travels have I stayed at a hotel that had a pool that did this. Knowing this I would have not picked this hotel because my family refused to use the pool. Also, no where in their policies on booking.com does it state that this is a requirement. Very disappointment by this.

Pool can get very crowded in afternoons with local residents using the facility.

Very small room for 3 persons and facilities are quite old. Limited choice for breakfast.
