Hotel Cavalieri

Offered an epic view of Lago Trasimeno on mornings and sunsets. Dining area has an interesting collection that memorabilia that I couldn’t stop enjoying. Ate like a king at the property. Luana (the host) was marvelous and very present.

I would find it more enjoyable during the summertime when the pool is open.

Great receptionist Luana. Made my stay warm and comfortable.It is an old hotel in need of serious renovation. But value for money is excellent. They deserve a perfect score for kindness , clean room and value for money

The location is amazing, we were given a beautiful corner room with lake view, the room was so bright and airy,the lady in reception very welcoming, the room was very clean.I cannot understand the negative reviews,especially when you stay on a budget.

The only issue was that the mini fridge wasn't chilling at all.

Big bathroom, but small shower

Room was spotless and comfortable. Piping hot water in showers. Extra pillows if need and a spectacular view of the lake from the small balcony. Breakfast was basic but at €2.50 per person hard to complain. Coffee , croissants and some sweet cakes and biscuits. There was also some limited fruit and avoidable juice! Staff were also really nice .

The restaurant as off season seemed jaded. We thought about eating there as value incredible but honestly was too miserable. If eating on balcony over lake would have been different story but not an option this time of year!

The view from the very large balcony was fab. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a set meal in the resturant which was nice and value for money.

Very disgusting & poor breakfast. Everybody is slapping their room doors at any time of the night, not so well isolated.

The location was perfect for our road trip. We arrived late in the evening but this was not a problem.

The hotel is in a nice location, having an external terrace with a view on the Lake Trasimeno, and handy thanks to the closeness with the main highway. Room is medium size but has everything you would need for a short stay.

I would improve the rooms adding air conditioning, especially during the summer.

Very charming and cozy old- style hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much especially the panoramic view over the lake from the room and restaurant terrace. The owner is very sweet and makes the place feel warm and welcoming.

Very friendly staff and great location with a view to the lake, spacious room and comfortable bed.

The description said that the rooms had air condition, but they don't, there's only a fan, which doesn't help much when it's 37 degrees outside. Also, the pool was under construction, and there was no water in it.

A very comfortable room with a balcony and lake view. The buffet breakfast better than most hotels I have visited.The pool was very welcome in the hot afternoon.I hope to visit again. Thank you.

The view from the hotel was great! Nice vintage decoration and furniture, the owner was very kind, the breakfast could have more savour options not only sweet.

The bed was not uncomfortable. The location was okay.

There was a thick layer of dust on the spare blanket in the cupboard about half a centimetre thick that showered the room when I got it down. The shower door handle was broken and there were random old plumbing pipes sticking out of the walls in the bathroom. The door to the room and external were slightly broken or stiff. Bad facilities. The pool was an eye saw - the cover was covered in brown mouldy water.
