Hôtel & Spa Le Gambetta, Bergerac, Centre ville

Nice hotel,room was fine for a 2 night stay. The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. Good location just minutes away from the historic centre,restaurants and the river frontage. All in all,a good place for a short stay. Good buffet breakfast

Nothing bad

Lovely well equipped rooms with comfy beds and pillows. Air conditioned which was a must in August. Very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Ideally located to explore the historic town. Would stay again.

Everything was lovely. If I was to be picky, a small fridge in the room would have been good for water etc.

Good location close to centre of Bergerac and all the shops and restaurants. Also close to the train station (which we needed).

Theres nothing not to like about the property .Just needs a little TLC on the stairs and landing .Apart from that its really good

The room was comfortable with hanging space and a safe.The hotel was immediately opposite a car park which was helpful and within easy walking distance of the old city and the river. There were numerous bars and restaurants very close by.The breakfast was wonderful with a huge range of options including beautiful fresh bread, croissants, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and fresh fruit.It is also easy to access from the main roads around Bergerac.

The hotel is a little tired and could do with redecoration and a lot of TLC.

The room was comfortable and well organised; the location was excellent.

The young staff members were disorganised and seemed ignorant; there was no routine in handling and receiving keys, no communication skills to replace the lack of foreign language competence. Asking for our keys to stay in and not being able to have access to them after hours is totally unreasonable.

Lift was a little narrow for two people.

Clean comfortable like a hotel. It was small, small room but quite comfortable. Had stayed in an AirBnB which was not nearly as good for more money. Location equal

Clean, quiet, fabulously located. Very comfy bed, great continental breakfast with decent selection of fresh produce. Kind and helpful staff.

Couple of minor jobs in the en-suite bathroom- needs updating.

The staff were very nice, helpfull and friendly and the location was great and close to everything.

The rooms were dated; it did not feel like a three-star hotel. The bathrooms looked tired, the joints were dirty, and water leaked to the floor while taking a shower. The toilets had some issues as well. We booked as a couple and only had one towel for both of us.

The hotel is being renovated but is currently very dated. The rooms were very tired with not much furniture. The bathroom had mould on the ceiling.
