- It was truly fantastic, the guy who runs the place was very friendly. The facilities were great and right on the main strip in Paul Riquet.
- The beds and the shower were excellent also the little terrace was great for people watching .
- Great location by Christmas market with good showers and wifi
Cons -
- Everything was fab - apart from the steep walk up from the train station on a hot day, but that's not the hotel's fault!
- Was a bit far from the canal. Some directions clarifying the best route between the canal and the hotel would be helpful for those coming into town. Going back down to the canal (through the Plateau des Poètes park) was fairly straightforward when we left.
- Where do I start . 2 hangers for a 5 day stay ,the room stunk of smoke, half a pillow for my bedding, toilet basin loose, shower basin blocked and overflowing. Sewage smell , the room is overlooked and extremely unsafe if your window is left open. I went to use the guests communal room to sit on the balcony and there were hotel workers in there asleep on the sofa. I travel extensively worldwide and can truthfully say the worst room I have ever stayed in. And before the rude guy who checked me in mention about moving to another room , oh yes but wanted another €80 . I was in room 10 pls ,pls , pls avoid.

Great location, lovely room with its own terrace. Loved the quirky décor; staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great location, on the central boulevard. Good access to the historic district. Good bed. Stayed here 2 nights on our cycling trip down the Canal du Midi.

The host helped my 93 yr old Uncle and I carry our bags up the many stairs to our room.
Nothing, it was great!
We did not stay and walked out and then booked a really nice hotel a short distance away.
Room was awful stank of smoke and we refused to stay there. Offered an alternative that was dark and awful.
Location
Breakfast wasn’t included and I had asked for gluten free breakfast and was told to go to the local bakery to get some gluten free bread/pastries but they had none. I then had to go to the local supermarket to buy bread and butter and honey and bring it back to the hotel to have there! No coffee/tea or water supplied unfortunately at hotel. Stairs quite dangerous too as we were on fourth floor and hard to manage going up with suitcases. Toilet wasn’t great either, very tiny etc……
The host was nice and helpful. He spoke good English!
On arrival, I found out that I could no longer cancel nor get a refund! There was no mention of any stairs as I find stairs very difficult. I had no choice but to simply struggle through the steep stairs!
Not recommended
The room is very samll and the bathroom is not well isolated. There is no AC nor elevator. The location was good, however, it was very noisy.
The mattress was very comfortable and location was convenient. Room was adequate but a tad on the small side. The WiFi was excellent, otherwise it was just an average hotel and did not meet the presentation on the web. When the staff were around, they were quite nice.
No breakfast available, staff absent after check-in, very steep staircase and the room was unpleasantly warm in the summer with no fans, a ceiling fan but it was ineffective.
Very good location, friendly helpful staff, cheap room
Hasn’t got air con, only a ceiling fan, meaning when the sun was shining into the room, it was incredibly hot and you’re unable to cool it down. WiFi which keeps disconnecting and isn’t strong enough to play videos without buffering.
location was perfect for all the life and restaurants. We travelled by bus and train and was very easy. Our host was very friendly and helpful. the decor was very beautiful and tasteful.
nothing. rooms were compact - but that was expeted and fine for a short stay
It was a beautiful boutique hotel. Small and individual. The owner could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was well priced and lots of it.
Very interesting little hotel with quirky design, and extremely nice staff. A nice change from standard hotel rooms.
Plumbing a little rough.
It was a typical little French Hotel sited right on the square, very quirky, the owner was so very helpful making us feel very important
Nothing really
The staff was incredibly helpful! Also, the location was perfect!
The room was quite small.
The location is right in the centre of Beziers making it very easy to get to restaurants and see the city. The reception was great and very helpful with storing my bike.
Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Great location.
4th floor walk-up with no view. Shower room very small.
