Hotel Les Negociants

Location right in town and convenient bike lockups.

Once we found the place, it was quite central

Dirty dishes on the cupboard. Very old and needed updating. Kitchen terribleNever been to a place like this where the guests are asked to clean the floors and the apartment before leaving. On check in, you are handed a ‘welcome kit’ which is a cleaning kit.

The location of the hotel is great! The staff is very welcoming. The restaurant is very nice, as well.

There was a damp smell in the room, but I think that was because there is no door to the bathroom.

Good location, close to the city cneter, the train station and a parking; clean room; nice facilities; very friendly staff

a little bit noisy at night if the windows are open

Once I got there perfectly nice hotel, helpful staff

The hotel is advertised as being a few steps from the train station. This is true, but the problem is if you’re coming from Paris, the train does not necessarily take you to this train station if you buy a ticket for Valence. My train took me to the main Valance station. I was told it’s easy to get a cab from the main road station to the town. Is that else where the hotel is. But it was not at all easy.

Very helpful and welcoming staff, secure place on site for our bicycles, comfortable bed and a room with a view. Breakfast was fine- very basic but I was happy they had gluten free bread for me.

Very convenient location just opposite the Train and Bus stations. Polite and helpful reception staff.

The floor boards squeaked quite a bit. There was no shower curtain in the bath tub which made it difficult to take a standing shower. The bathtub was very high and would difficult for people with disabilities to negotiate.

Perfect location for bus or train travellers. Five minutes from the park and even closer to fabulous restaurants and cafes. I can’t fault it.

Very well located

Our room was ready when we arrived but some things were missing…like towels..lack of organization

Super close to the station, 2 options of parking available, friendly staff, good comfy bed!

Superb location. Comfortable beds. Parking available nearby. Friendly staff.

Room was a little tired. Bathroom door handle was broken. Just needs some TLC.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Close to the station. And not that far from city center.

Nettes Personal, Lage beim Bahnhof

Kleine Zimmer

Friendly and helpful staff, easy checkin

Shower had mold and water was not coming out properly

super friendly staff and very nice design to make it look cozy & comfortable beds!

as it is an old building you will hear your neighbours coming home to their rooms

The staff is very nice

Very noisy., air conditioning was not working

Good location with easy access. We had garage parking for our motorcycles.

We could have done with a shower

Great hotel with welcoming staff - nothing is too much trouble. We arrived at lunchtime on bikes soaked through from heavy rain. Our bikes were quickly put in safe storage and noticing the hotel has a popular restaurant we ate a delicious plat du jour (only €11)while our room was being prepared. The room was large, warm with good quality linen and towels and a very comfortable bed. Location very good near train station and town centre. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Centrally located opposite Valence railway station, a small friendly hotel with bar/restaurant. Only a short walk into the old town and with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Lift to all floors. Quiet, clean room with TV and storage space. The en-suite bathroom was small but adequate and had a shower. Usual continental breakfast with cold items/croissants/bread etc

No hot items at breakfast

Location cleanliness, and staff.

No hot water!! I stood waiting for the shower and the basin for 5 mins, Toni avail. I didn’t have time to complain as I had trains to catch. Otherwise, very good.
