Hôtel de Lyon

I picked this place because it's very close to the railway station. There's also a supermarket and restaurants nearby.

The room is basic. The shower is very small and a bit tricky to use. Basic equipment, a small TV but no water boiler.

Close to rail station and old town. A garage to store bike.

I used it only for sleeping. Very close to the train station, easy to check in and clean.

Basic, comfortable and clean accommodation. Very welcoming receptionist. Very close to railway station. Nice breakfast

Noisy - from street and loud walking from upstairs room.

Good central location. Bikepacking friendly, bikes allowed in room.

Very small bathrooms, akin to what you would find on a ferry/ship, which in the heat became almost like a sauna.

Personeel were very friendly.

They dont offer breakfast. You have to pay and get it on another hotel.Booked family rooms but were placed very far from each other, instead of placing family rooms next to each other. Packing is very difficult and hotel not easily accessible if you have kids and suitcases

Don't believe the pictures, IT IS A DUMP.

Everything. This place is a dump. Don't fall for the pictures. Even the taxi driver was skeptical when we told him where we were going. The bathroom was the size of an airplane's toilet. You could take a dump and shower at the same time.

Worst stay of my life and rudest staff I’ve ever encountered

The rooms were absolutely not like the pictures on booking.comThe staff in the evening was rude as hell. He even told me: “if you are not happy with your room don’t even come by the desk and leave right away and we will not reimburse you”Due to an email mentioning my reservation was not complete I had to reconfirm it and I received a double booking. I called right away booking.com to solve the situation and they called the hotel who said I previously called to confirm I needed both bookings which was a complete lie.

The toilet and shower were very small, like shower cabine in the train (in the sleeping car). I missed the glass for water, but maybe I didn't noticed it.

Great location, nice staff in general. 24/24 access.

Cleaning staff opening door during shower/sleep, even when yelling not to after first knock.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was clean.

The room looked completely different thank in photos, it was really small, hard to move inside, the toilet was nothing like in the photo, so small it was hard to take a shower. The room was really hot.

Close to train station.

No air condition and the place is way too scary to leave the window open at night.

Only plus is location

It was so hot, and they could only provide one little fan for a room of 3 people. We literally sweated so much during the night it wasn’t fun.
