Hotel Eguren Ugarte

Beautiful property and location. We got one of the rooms on the top floor with a huge balcony to enjoy the views and it was a wonderful place to sip wine and watch the sunset. Would highly recommend staying here! Great value.

The staff were adequate.

The view from the window was breathtaking, the property being in the heart of vineyards. Excellent suggestions for bike rentals to bike the region.

The food at the restaurant either a la carte or the set menu was not very good. Breakfast was good. Staff at the front desk seemed impatient and not as friendly as all the other hotels we stayed at in northern Spain.

The property is located in a vineyard and it is beautiful!! I can’t stress that enough. The rooms are ok needs a little bit of tlc but nothing special.

The dinner unfortunately was not so good and pretty pricey.

Staff on front desk were confused about our bookings and the restaurant access was confusing and menu very limited. A disappointing stay for what could be a great hotel.

We got a room with an amazing view to vineyard, breakfast it was very good and restaurant view also is amazing, House Vinyard Tour also is very nice, and wine tasting offer great house wines..., Also something important to Highlight is the staff, always kind, available, and open to give any advice regarding hotel, or restaurant nearby, btw, you need to visit Laguardia small town, you will find amazing restaurants as "Hostería de los Parajes", 100% recommended,

Eguren Ugarte exceeded our expectations in every way. It was truly an exceptional experience! We were greeted with a smile at check-in. Our room was spectacular with majestic views of the vineyards. Amazing wines! A delightful breakfast ...and a guest service team that made every guest feel uniquely special.

I honestly can't think of anything that we did not like.

Amazing experience during our road trip through Spain. Comfortable rooms, close to Laguardia for exploring the historic town and binary shops. The place is very romantic, ideal for couples.

Location was great for getting to other bodegas in the region. The hotel was great value. It had an impressive view especially at sunset.

Lovely location

Very poor dinner . Food was uninteresting and of low quality . Fish was tough . Meat frankly awful . Dessert was something out of the freezer . The wine tour was ok but the tapas was inadequate and very odd . Not good value for money .

Iconic architecture, the highest standards, great food and epic views. What not to like?

Unique and wonderful property not fancy but sits on a valley with amazing views of mountains and vineyards This is a winery and you can do tours and tasting, The restaurant offers a pre fix menu with wine pairing that is fantastic and affordable. Breakfast is included in the rate, simple but very good. I highly recommend this property we have stayed 4 times and keep coming back.

We loved being able to see inside the winery from the elevator and the vineyard views from our room with a balcony were amazing! The menu de desgustacion was realllyy good at the restaurant.

The room could use some updating like a new TV and better wifi. But that’s just being picky. Overall very good.

The grounds and views from the hotel looking out to the vineyards were beautiful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, notably the pastries and fresh breads. The location in proximity to LaGuardia was wonderful and offered a nice alternative for pinchos and a visit of a local village.

We wish we were able to take a tour of the grounds and vineyards, but there were not many options that worked for us. Only thing we could recommend is USB ports in the rooms, but a very minor point!

Breakfast was very good. The lady taking coffee orders and running the tables was very kind and diligent. The variety and quiality of the food was great.

My shower towel had a big hole, seemed ripped and old. The glass door curtains in the room had holes. The wc seat was broken.

The view is spectacular - worth booking a room with a terrace.

Bed was a bit hard for me but that is my personal taste.

The view from the room balcony was lovely. Comfortable bed. Well designed modern washroom. Convenient location to explore the region.

In our room there was an issue with strength of the WiFi signal. It was fine near the door and hallway wall in bathroom. But inside the living space, the signal was very week and often no signal at all. This issue was the only negative issue we experienced.
