Inatel Manteigas

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and pleasant — truly going above and beyond. I felt genuinely welcome from the first moment.The room was very warm, comfortable, and cozy, which made the stay especially relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained.Special thanks to the team for their honesty and support — their help left a lasting positive impression. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Inatel Manteigas and overall, it was a delightful experience. The breakfast offered was good. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.One of the highlights of this hotel is its excellent location in Manteigas. It served as an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas, making it convenient for travelers keen on outdoor adventures.

The hotel's lobby felt claustrophobic and lacked quiet areas conducive to relaxation or reading. As someone who enjoys unwinding with a book, I found the lack of such spaces disheartening.

Stayed with friends riding through Spain, Portugal and France on our motorbikes. Very pleasant overnight stay. Splendid rural location, clean and tidy rooms, friendly and engaging staff, cold beer and decent food too, from a buffet.. would happily return and recommend.

Breakfast wsa good. Dinner was good.

- Room doesn't have AC, only a fan. - The receptionist who did the check in was very very unpleasant (the only one, all other staff was very nice)

Splendid location and surroundings; you feel fully integrated in the nature. Very quiet and comfy. Great, buffet style breakfast with lots of options. Parking is easily available right next to the rooms.

Access to the pool and all other Spa related services cost an extra and can be a bit expensive. 45min on the pool is €14/person at the time of writing. There was no wall socket on either side of the bed. Um p

Disappointing.

Fleas in the room. (not the main building).No air conditioning.The swimming pool was not available.Poor breakfast.

Location was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Our accommodation was in a separate block almost 10 minutes walk uphill from the main hotel. Not ideal for a couple of pensioners. No air conditioning and it was stifling hot, making it near impossible to sleep. Also both the main hotel and the separate block were infested with flies and no attempt was made to control the annoying buzzing around us that went on night and day.

Nice location, clean rooms, met our needs, breakfast was typical Continental style.

We stayed in an annex, separate from the main hotel, so the bar and restaurant were a walk down the hill.

It is directly nearby the river- you sleep with the sound of it. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is great. I really enjoyed my time here.

The location is amazing and the building was really pretty. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cosy. The breakfast was ok as it was just cold foods.

The room was nice and comfortable. The people at the breakfast were 10*!

You have to pay to have access to the POOL! We chose this hotel because it says they have a pool, however is a spa pool so for each 45min you pay 12€ or something similar (don't remember the exact price).Not so much lighting in the room.

The scenary was good, the annex of the hotel was good.as was the breakfast. I would stay there again if I was in that area.

Fantastic Breakfast and very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of the mountain and the little Manteigas town. The breakfast buffet is also a very good spread with plenty of options and all the rooms are very warm and comfortable.
