Novotel Medellin El Tesoro

Great location attached to a mall. Tons of food options around the hotel.

the mattress was EXTREMELY hard. also, had to walk through the mall to catch uber rides.

The location was excellent, I felt safe because it was connected to the Mall. It was only a 5 or 10 min uber from everywhere I wanted to go.

Take your own washclothes, they only had hand towels and bath towels. The pool closed too early at 4pm and they did not allow food or drinks at the pool area. When the toliet paper ran out they brought us a pack of napkins

Excellent location, clean, great breakfast, and attentive staff.

Our dinner meals at the restaurant on het 4th Floor (PP) were fabulous. Deliciously prepared and wonderfully served. We loved the attention, courtesy, friendliness of the restaurant staff, especially Diana, Fabianne, and Alessandro. And the guys at the front desk - it was such a joy to come 'home' to their welcoming faces! Friday evening entertainment by singer Kata Durango was fabulous as well.

Breakfast coffee can be better having more healthy options, but in general it had plenty of food.

Waiters were super polite, kind , very nice people!!! Very helpful, always ready to bring whatever we may need to the table.

Housekeeper wasn’t that great, take ages to clean the rooms, we were charged at first, for drinks we never took! It wasn’t charged on the final invoice, but wasn’t pleasant to hear that apparently we took them. Housekeeper wasn’t polite, after first day of our stay, she never left back face towels. She left empty plastic bottles after cleaning, lacking cleaning on floors.

I love the rooms , they were very spacious and the view was fantastic!

The lobby is small

It’s was clean, well located, very pretty and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice location with nice view and ample room

Very dirty (our daughter’s white socks turned black after a few minutes). Only one pair of slippers was provided and upon asking for an extra pair we were initially told we would have to pay for them and ultimately they said they were out of slippers. The room only had one set of towels and, again, upon asking for extra towels (we were 3 persons), they were delivered in a condescending way and, on top of all, the extra towels they brought had hairs on them, smelled bad and seemed to be dirty/used. The food we ordered through room service was the worst we had during our stay in Colombia and it definitely wasn’t worth the price.
