Medellin Marriott Hotel

Clean, great service, great location. Fabulous breakfast buffet but make sure it's included in your rate! They told us at check-in it was included and after breakfast they said it wasn't...

Except the error with included breakfast buffet everything was very good.

The staff sterotyped my girlfriend as a prostitute...we had to register her 3 times..every time we walked in they forced us rudely to the front desk...God forbid you have tattoos ..they will harass you everytime you walk in...terrible experience..will never go back ..n im a marriott bonvoy member..sad truly sad..found a much better hotel around the corner..never had a problem not once being harassed..

Upon arrival shortly before 10PM, and hungry, all restaurant and bar service was closed. Only room service was available! Room service had a club sandwich and pasta only! Not a 5 Star hotel!Following day left the hotel at 8.3OAM. Upon return at 3.15PM room was not done.

The restaurants are excellent. Nice buffet breakfast; lively music at the bar. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Good English.

Since the start the welcoming was bad, they have a person outside and this guy never helped with bags, he did open doors for other guest except us traveling with lots of luggage. the receptionist told us that they did not have the room we reserved, so that was frustrating. it’s super expensive and I will never stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location. You can walk to Provenza for dinner and nightlife in 20 minutes or take a 5 minute uber! There are also multiple malls within a 10 minute walk. Hotel has 2 restaurants, we only ate at the Marketplace was it was delicious!

The facilities are beautiful and are modern and clean. There’s a good variety of breakfast options.

The service is good but uneven and at times slow. We were given misinformation a few times, and room service orders sometimes took up to an hour to arrive. I think a lot of hotels are getting up to pre covid level staffing and are not quite there with the service levels. Everyone we encountered tried to be as accommodating as possible.

Pleasant

Lacking luxury. Stayed at 4 other cheaper hotels in Medellin and they were much more pleasant. Very disappointed with the size of the room and I could hear my neighbors. No bar by the Pool, no mini bar and room service close’s early. Recommend staying at other hotels.

The location is a bit far to walk to al poblado .The restaurant for the brekafast ise very very cold . I will never understand why hotels sometimes setup the aircon for 18-20 Degrees !!! Its crazy!

The breakfast is really good

No covid protocols, the dinning/breakfast spaces were completely crowded. The Pool does not received sun until 1 pm and the check out is at 12 and if you check in a bit late basically you never enjoy the Pool/sun experience, also that night rained and everything at the Pool was wet at the next day and there weren’t personnel to help. Shampoo and other cleaning items were uneven, from different brands and too small. In general it wasn’t the experience you normally get at a Marriott facility and for that price we felt it wasn’t fair nor satisfying
