Hotel Florencia Plaza

Location, cleanliness, staff and price.

My room only had a semi-transparent courtain that did not block light much at night time nor morning. This did not help me sleep well.

The staff, breakfast, and the quality of linens.

Small bathroom and view from the room was facing a wall - about 5ft away.

Hotel employee was exceptional!

Pleasant staff. Great location.

No towels.. I had to ask.

Great location. They give you breakfast. I didn’t go up to the jacuzzi level. The room was huge! And with AC. The bed was comfortable too.

Location was great

Bathroom was not as clean as it should They toilet never work properly and you ended up wasting more water than usual trying to flush

Price

Room and facilities were overall not so clean. Towels were old and losing fibers, shower didn't work properly.

Location

Towels and soap

It was the perfect location in el Poblado at an economical price. Basic accommodation but has all the amenities needed. We only went at night because spent most of the day sightseeing, so it was a good hotel for us.

Everything was ok

Location was fantastic. Staff were super kind.

Room was 2 star equivalent at best. Pool was dirty and unusable.

Staff are great, breakfast 3 options, enough and good fresh.

They overcharged me for a second person that just come to visit for 1 hours, and left.

Wonderful staff, great location. The lady at the reception helped us organize our trip. Thanks also for helping with our broken glasses.

We immediately asked for a replacement of the dirty sheets. The window was very small, looking out onto the wall. The breakfast was poor.Noisy during the night, other guests playing music, impossible to sleep until 2 a.m.

Oue experience was great here. It was close to everything, but the noise didn't get to us. Rosa and Jennifer who were on duty in the mornings were amazing, the breakfast was great and they helped us out with everything. Those 2 are rockstars!

It was a bit difficult to get ubers there because of the way the streets are in Medellin. So sometimes that was hard. The people that worked in the evening were not the best.

Location was very good, but at night could get a bit scary, however there is a lot of police du to a Jewish church.

The WiFi was terrible, very unreliable.

Close to Parque Lleras but quite at night. One of the few hotels with this combination.

I highly recommend this hotel/hostel, I booked the 6 beds room because I traveled with 5 friends, we loved the place, the breakfast was delicious. Beds are very comfy. Rosita, Jennifer and Banis were very friendly and attentive. We were celebrating our 30th birthday, Rosita and Jennifer organized the decoration and bought a cake for us, everything was awesome. We will be back soon definitely!

Location, quick check in

Very few plugs worked in the room, fridge didn’t work, shower was awful, only one single sheet on the bed to share for a double bed.

Very small room for 6 people, although the price was pretty high.

Room size / price balance

Great location but definitely not worth 4* Staff is smiling :)

The room is small and not very clean, very small window and old bathroom. We stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned the room and changed towels, even if we asked for it. Quite surprising for a 4* hotel. Going to the front desk to ask for toilet paper is not really fun. Breakfast was ok but slow service and they did not serve what was on the menu so you have to ask for it specifically.

The friendly staff and the lovely breakfasts really made our stay special. The staff were so warm and always willing to help: they advised me on where to get some laundry done, for example (just up the street, as it turned out). They made us feel right at home, and I always looked forward to seeing them. (Note: we speak a little Spanish--not much, but a little--and that's helpful in this case.)
