Very cool building. Very clean and comfortable. Super staff for check in. Decent breakfast. It isn’t for those who love modern, but it oozes charm. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

A rare location in a medieval house, with a great patio and great charm

the code system to access the room

    7SusanPosted on: 5-28-2025

    The room was okay

Has new owners apparently, and has sadly deteriorated since last time I was here. Breakfast was a sad affair and there is no one around to help you.

It was very strange there was only one member of staff. Breakfast was completely gluten free which was not known before we booked, old apples, very poor orange, awful frozen white gf bread, very limited. Quite surprising given the two stars and the expensive restaurant on the ground floor. The floor in the bedroom was dirty.

Location is good and the room was clean

    - no signage for the hotel- the room was very warm with only a small window.- no fan or air-conditioning provided - in the room no chair, no table, no place to put the suitcase other than on the floor- no curtains either Woden window or full daylight

This is a really historic hotel and yet is very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, local products, including "home"-baking - all delicious.

    All good

We were disappointed that the restaurant was shut. After travelling all day we do not want to have to go out looking for food. There are some cafe's nearby but not the best. On the plus side it was a good continental breakfast.

    Restaurant shut.

Very beautiful building with central courtyard adorned with plants and flowers. I had a lovely lunch sitting there. My room was very old world but with all mod cons. Very comfortable bed. A perfect retreat after a day on the Camino. Breakfast was good.

Everything was perfect. Really enjoyed my stay.

    8JennyPosted on: 5-14-2023

Good location on the Camino route, generous breakfast, tourist office in the same building.Towel heater in the bathroom. We left our Camino credentials and the lady returned them to the hotel in the next town.

There was no lift, the room was small, was given a twin room despite booked a double.
