    Pros +

    • Great location between Honfleur and Deauville. Happened to see as we were on route, changed plans for the night and returned there! We were given a fabulous room(10). Enjoyed the spa in the late afternoon and again before breakfast. Wonderful breakfast. Loved heater for towels and drying bits of laundry.
    • Splendid property, in beautiful setting and excellent location.
    • Location. Design. Comfort.

    Cons -

    • Have to be careful to lock the door with key! It is not automatic.
    • Our room was quite nice, with a beautiful view and lots of lights, but the it - as well as the bathroom - could need some refreshments. Upon arrival, we had to wait a long time at the check-in (no one was present). Especially disturbing was that the fact that the wastebasket in the bathroom was not clean (it was not emptied ).
    • Sorry to say laundry bags left by lifts well into the evening lessened the experience of a fine hotel.

Peaceful and quiet setting for the hotel which is surrounded by large gardens with interesting and some quirky aspects.Good swimming pool in the nearby spa.Excellent cuisine for dinner in the hotel restaurant.Large comfortable bedroom with excellent facilities and a nice bathroom with a good shower.

Some of the prices are excessive for the value received. 25 euros for a very mediocre breakfast was frankly wildly excessive. 7 euros for a bottle of the hotel’s own bottled water seemed rather steep. The hotel had reserved a table for me for dinner in the restaurant at 19h30. No choice of time had been offered to me.On arrival at the restaurant at 19h30 there was no sign of a single member of staff, so I sat and read a magazine in the entrance hall for the next 25 minutes. Eventually I was seated at 19h55 but I was not offered a menu or anything to drink for a further 10 minutes. There was just one female member of staff who was waiting on 9 tables entirely on her own. The service of the meal took until 22h00 which I felt was really very unsatisfactory. The cuisine of each dish was in fact excellent but the meal was ruined by the above detrimental points. When checking out the following morning I was presented with a bill which was about double what I was expecting. On examination it included some but not all of the items that I had had for dinner as well as various drinks and food items that had clearly been ordered by another guest. This was quickly corrected and I was presented with my proper bill for settlement. I was unimpressed by this error by the hotel. After I had led the hotel I was annoyed to see from the bill that I had been charged 2.30 euros for the taxe de séjour when this was clearly shown on my Booking.com reservation confirmation as included in the room total that I had already paid. All in all I regret that these significant matters detracted from the enjoyment of staying in what is otherwise a delightful and well maintained hotel with courteous staff.

It was a good location. Well presented. Nice bar/ lounge area. Our room looked out over the sea which was nice.Breakfast was good, reasonable choice Spa facilities were good

Restaurant was closed, despite both Booking com and also Hotel own website stating the restaurant was open.Issues with the lift but there was a note to say button was broken, causing some difficulties. In my opinion breakfast was a bit expensive compared to other hotels we had used through France (maximum paid €17) for similar choice

Lovely place, gorgeous grounds. Our rooms were large and well equipped and very comfortable, the spa was excellent, nice pool and outside area and a small but adequate sauna and steam room. We arrived at lunch time and had a light sharing board in the garden with some drinks and then had dinner in the restaurant. The bar area is very welcoming. The whole place is perfect for breaking the journey from Dieppe into deeper France. Would have liked to have more time to visit the local area which seems charming.

All was very good, only thing seems to be that they expect guests to be absent over lunch, so the lunch offering is very minimal -but tasty! - and the service was quite slow as they had to find staff to serve us. Spa opening hours were 3pm - 9pm and then open only at 9am again. I am an early riser and like to have a swim before breakfast, which was therefore not possible.

Fantastic location and nice garden and wellness/spa. The menu of the chef was excellent and breakfast was very good. Overall an excellent hotel to stay in Normandy !

Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful grounds. Very comfortable bed. Excellent food especially evening dinner. Plenty of parking. Close proximity to very quiet beach. Ideal for visiting nearby highlights including beautiful Honfleur and stunning Deauville. Even a welcoming fire in the lounge.

Only minor point was that lift buttons were temperamental. Hardly a major point though !

Beuatiful property in a beautiful location. The gradens and spa are amazing and the rooms are tasteful and spacious.

We wont say we disliked anything but believe that is a property understandably more suited to adults only. The swimming pool is also for adults only, which we hadnt expected. Hence being the oböy ones with a 7 year old felt bit off place.

The staff were welcoming and the Location was perfect for us. The room was lovely overlooking the front lawns. Very Comfortable bed !

Hedge cutting all morning very noisy !

Super friendly staff, they helped us to book very good restaurants in Honfleur. The room is comfy and clean. There is private parking. Breakfast is so nice. Coffee machine is in the room. Good location, if you are traveling by car.

The hotel has indoor swimming poos, sauna and steam, but they look outdated..

Very nice and big sized room with nice appointments... Helpful staff... Very well decorated lobby with excellent parking and gardens...

    7EddyPosted on: 1-25-2024

Small pool & spa. Room was with a lot of space. Breakfast was as in all 4* hotels. Nothing special.

Booked long in advance. Arrived in the evening, as mentioned. Wanted to go for diner in the restaurant but it was full! It is the first time, and we travel a lot, that we could not have dinner in a hotel we booked. Strange to see was that other guests had the possibility to have dinner in the bar. When we asked... it was not possible! Very strange attitude...

    9FrançoisPosted on: 11-11-2023

The breakfast was fantastic. The spa was nice.

The check-in was not well organised after 6pm even if we called before.

    9JamesPosted on: 10-2-2023

The restaurant, the bar, the gardens, the rooms & the staff - all excellent

    7LowePosted on: 10-2-2023

    Good sized room, very clean

Beware they may refuse to feed you as a guest if you don't have dinner booked in advance. We did not expect this, and there were no restaurants available close by for dinner.

    7RobertPosted on: 9-16-2023

The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The stroll to the beach was easy.

We were not offered assistance with our luggage on arrival which as our accommodation was in a separate Spa block on the upper floor would have been helpful. Also the shortage of dining space was a shame.

    2JeroenPosted on: 9-10-2023

Not much. Maybe the parking area.

Check in time 4pm. So I arrive after a 6 hour drive at 2pm, hot as hell, the lobby was a sauna, no airco in the entire building and they don’t bother at all to give me a room before 4pm. I understand there might not be one available directly but you can just give me the next one available within 15 or 20 minutes. No airco or ventilation in the rooms as well, so it’s very very very hot. Need to sleep with open windows which attract a lot of animals. I visited in September, can’t imagine during the hot summer months. Finally decided to check out at 7.30 in the morning, but the front desk starts at 8am. So I just left my key.
