Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection - Adults Only

Breakfast was exceptional, overseeing sea while waking up and eating, with a very good and large offer. Waiters were taking care a lot of all requests in timely manner. Very good value for money. Direct beach access and two pools with lot of deck chairs around to always enjoy peace rest.

Car parking is a bit small, car slots in corners are not usable; however we were always able to park in the street. The bed linens could be of better quality to ensure optimal comfort. The blackout and non-blackout curtains were reversed.

Super friendly staff, making you feel very welcomed. Helpful at all times. The rooms are quite big, but i can't say the same about the bathroom or the dressing size. Espresso machine available in the room, and free minibar (soft drinks, beer and wine). It has its own beach, which is great and it's close to a lot of markets, shops and nice restaurants. Good breakfast, with a variety of choices.

The resort is a solid 4 stars , clean, modern and the room/suite had everything you could need during a vacation. Amazing staff, good breakfast with a nice selection.

We paid 200+ euros extra for a room with side sea view, but when we arrived we were informed (not asked) that we were upgraded to a suite. Once inside there was no side sea view (except for about 1cm2 of sea visible between a building and the restaurant , below another balcony, if you leaned out dangerously enough). We asked for our sea view but were postponed to 'tomorrow' when we were informed that they can move us to a similar room. I believe once a week's worth of stuff was unpacked nobody would ever repack to switch rooms. The whole resort is built such way that side sea views from rooms is a challenging term.

I stayed at Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection - Adults Only in Crete, and it was a truly memorable experience. The staff were kind and very helpful, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. The location was ideal—just steps away from a lively street full of restaurants, cafés, and shops, offering a great taste of local life. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d love to return someday.

It’s a really great location right on the beach and it’s very peaceful and relaxing. The resort is small and intimate and you can totally switch off.

Absolutely incredible! Best hotel breakfast in my life and fantastic service. The bar, restaurant as well as the ambience and view from both were impeccable and felt like we were staying at the White Lotus. Definitely staying again!!

Honestly, no complaints – wish we could’ve stayed one more day for Mexican Night at the restaurant & wish the Greek ice cream options at breakfast were available later in the day. Wait staff were incredibly polite & helpful & we saw the manager diligently helping guests and employees alike. Superb!

Everything was more than perfect

Excellent location The breakfast buffet was very goodReception staff, especially Marion, was super helpful.The beach is beautiful.The room was very big and well equipped.I really don't have anything bad to say except that the hotel should employ some additional cleaning staff. The staff have a lot to do.

Very beautiful scenery right on the beach. My balcony was right in front of the sea. The hotel was modern and spotless. Receptionist was especially helpful.

Really lovely hotel. It's part of 3 different types of hotel owned by the same brand. This is the adult only hotel. So quiet, with very clean and has well planned facilities. Breakfast is excellent. Service excellent too. Lovely day and evening bar space for a calm chilled time. The restaurant manager was really lovely (although looked a bit serious at first) and the bar tender (Kasia?) was lovely, made great drinks and was very friendly / professional too. Reception staff always helpful. Gym was nice and we used it daily and pools a not too crowded option (early July). Bus stop to Chania is a 5 minute walk and a 20-25 minute journey so the hotel is well positioned. Also good for nearby car hire and a couple of the island's most famous beaches. Local restaurants are also very good. Plenty of choice with a short walk. Sunsets are stunning!

Overall very good with a few tiny things to improve. But it's quite new so no doubt will improve small points like perhaps sweeping clean and tidying / raking the sand around the hotel's beach loungers. Still clean and nice enough. Just a 10/10 point for an 8/10 thing. The restaurant in the evening is a little quiet with a limited menu. It's nice enough though especially on an arrival day or if weary.

We liked the location and the fact that it is an adults only hotel. We appreciated it was quiet. The receptionist was very nice and helpful.

The beach is a dissappontment. Very small with crowded sunbeds and a rocky entrance into the sea.The hotel is not at the 5 star level, it s really a 4 star. The room was on the ground floor and we could not air it properly because the only way to do that was to keep the balcony door open all times and we could practically feel like we are in the patio. Inside the room, in the bathroom there is only one hanger, not anough for the towels used by 2 people.

Location în front of the sea. Rooms are big but the hotel has a crowded layout so if you stay near thee sea like we did, facing the bar, you ll hear all the noise until 1pm.Beds are amazing, the most comfortable I ever slept în.

Cleaning is superficial, the floor remains sticky and stained.The hotel beach is small,dirty end extremly crowded with sunbeds wich are also stained, I made photos, could not belive it at a 5 star hotel. The pool is very small, almost every hotel around had bigger pools.Staff, except the reception and the bartender were not very friendly.Breakfast poor, same choice selection for 8 days nothing to expect from a 5 star hotel and I am a frecvent traveller, especially Greece so I was very dissapointed.

The hotel was lovely, it felt light and airy and as it was adults only, was quite quiet and peaceful. Our room got upgraded (without us asking) which was really nice - ended up with a room with a private pool and even though it was ground floor and next to the hotel shop, it was very quiet. The pools were good with easy access to the beach and breakfast had a great variety of food.

It would be nice if the staff could offer a little more advice re good restaurants etc
