Little hard to find

The room was spacious, great location, nice pool, nice beach, lots of choices for breakfast, really nice staff. They cleaned everyday.

Rooms need updating, bed is very uncomfortable, so many mosquitoes in the room. Don’t take bath it all backs up into the bathroom floor and gross black water came up. Staff was nice, came ip immediately and cleaned it and said it was fixed . I didn’t try it again.

The beach, the breakfast, the staff, cleanliness, large room.

The hotel next door had very loud music and entertainment. Also the rooms were a bit outdated with a bathtub. It is a bit difficult to get in and out and the shower head could be only used handheld. But overall we had a nice, peaceful stay.

Disappointed. We had our check in and the sofa in the room had stains in it. We went to the reception and just put some sheets over it (they told us they were from chlorine) unexpectedle for a 4star hotel. Oudated TV and the main light was flickering with the air-condition making noises. The pool was always dirty with bugs and leaves in it. On the buffet the food was average (but we could leave with that) the tables although where always full of bee's which was frustrating and dangerous. The beach upfront has seaweeds.

Our room was quite big but was very cold as the heating did not work on the first night. It was mended on the second night. We only had continental breakfast but would have preferred a cooked breakfast.. We understood tyhat this was because there was only 4 guests

The hotel with the best sunrise view we ever had right from the spacious balcony. Despite low season the premises and inner hotel territory were very clean, with a lot of greens and flowers in bloom. The hotel is just near the sea. We assume this hotel is definitely a gem for summer stay but we liked it very much even in December. The hosts were very nice and provided a lot of advice regarding the sightseeing possibilities.

We had some issues with water temperature in the bathroom, may be due to low season.

the location was superb. The staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Comfy, clean and spacious rooms.

We booked for 2 nights, our goal was to rest in a peaceful environment close to the sea. The first night: The isolation of the rooms was bad we could hear everything, also we got eaten by the mosquitos, but that wasn’t the worst. The second night was a nightmare: there was a wedding organized by the hotel just in front of the pool / outdoor restaurant. We could hear the music as if it was inside our room even with all the windows closed. The music continues until 5 in the morning!!! We couldn’t sleep at all! The next day (Sunday) another wedding was about to be organized. Luckily we were leaving that day… I find it really unacceptable that a hotel like this accepts private guests that have no link with the wedding guests and enables wedding parties so late and so loud at the same time. They have absolutely no respect for the customers who booked it to have some rest. Other points to mention: The area is pretty depressing: the hotel is far from other restaurants, bars. The breakfast is mediocre. If you still wish to stay in this hotel I recommend that you ask them if they will hold parties on the days you will be staying.

Superb

To go to town (Eretria) is a long walk (2 km) along a mostly deserted boulevard and partly in the dark.

Bad internet connection due to provider technical issues as I've been informed. Spending around 10' to get hot water but at low pressure. Asked for a double size bed but it was with two merged singles.

We enjoyed the evening meal and the beach. Although the beach looks bigger in the photos than it actually is.

The breakfast was ok but the Cooked breakfast offered needs to improve.

cleanliness of the pool and place around the pool is very very poor… chips and plastic all around, if they don’t have staff to clean they shouldn’t be serving food by the pool… I was very disappointed ?

Many things to desside what to eat ...Everything was tasty.And the staff was polite ready to help.

The coffee

Beautiful location. The staff is maximally dedicated to their work. I would like to highlight the staff at the reception and the waiters who were very kind and helpful. Cleanliness was at a very high level. The food was professionally cooked.

We had booked two rooms, but in one room the air conditioner was broken. Maybe we should have been offered another room, but the reception apologized and informed us that they would fix it soon. It happened after 3 days, so we didn't have air conditioner in one room for 3 days.

Very good location. Not big hotel, cozy, great beach. Not crowded. Good choice for dinner, amazing place when you eat by the sea. Would definitelly recomend this hotel to my friends.

Very friendly, family atmosphere. Well-organized work of all staff. Very tasty and varied food. It was very comfortable!!!!

We liked the space. Access to all the facilities was great.Food was good, and the staff were very attentive.

At night there is nobody at the hotel reception and no staff.When we arrived to the hotel, we received a horrendous room with mosquitoes. It was dark, small, no cell reception.Nothing was working and it was on ground floor, even when we booked and paid for a much better room.On the next morning we received a better room.After that occasion everything went smoothly.

Avantis was for our second week in Greece. Tempels and historic sites we did in the first week near Athens. We enjoyed during our week stay at Avantis the beach, bar, and pool the most. Breakfast was good and the lunches (13-16:00) were delicious and were our dinners.

beach side and a 25 min to more restaurants/bars. Food was excellent and staff very nice.

kitchenette had no facilities beyond a knife fork/plates. in general the room worked but could do with some care and attention e.g. lights shades dusty, crumbling cupboard. I think they ticked every facility option in the Booking.com system but in reality they aren't offered - e.g. didn't even see a sign for gym, yoga. At breakfast you could only have an instant coffee from a machine even though there was a a proper machine on the bar.
