Pros +
- The staff was very friendly and helpful .Clean and spacious room. The beds are supa comfortable.
- Everything was great! The staff was super nice, everything was very very clean and the food was awesome! Even the buffet food was delicious. We had a monkfish rice that was spot on!
- Spa is not too big but clean and stylish and overall nice, one of the saunas was not working but it was not a big deal as there were not too many people staying at the same time with us. Hotel is very cozy, a lot of space to walk around, breakfast has many options, staff is very very attentive to special requests like special diet and very cheerful overall.
Cons -
- It was not so nice that there were training session with music playing and the trainer shouting at the pool area. While the guests of the hotel are trying to relax.
- The sauna not being closer to the pool. We had to cross the spa reception and go downstairs for going to the sauna. And it was really small.
- Breakfast and very thin walls , could hear easily the family next to our room

Excellent! Covilhã is not Covilhã unless you go to this hotel and get a BRUNO welcome. Fabulous, he remembered us from last year. Great spacious rooms and free car park.
The spa and pool
Breakfast and very thin walls , could hear easily the family next to our room
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I really loved the way they displayed the historic elements of wool into the decor. The pool area was lovely. We had a nice quiet room. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots to choose from. Staff was wonderful. Large parking lots of spots. We took an UBER into the old part of the city for dinner and it was only about 5€. Free bottle of water in our room was a nice touch.
The only thing I felt that was missing because we're early risers, was a coffee machine in our room. Breakfast started at 8am, but if you wake up at 6am, it would be nice to make your own coffee. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.
The hotel is well connected with the city, there is a bus stop right at the entrance, and it is in close proximity to all city facilities. The ambient and the music are relaxing, and almost everything is covered in wool (even table lamps). There is an exibition at the lobby, I bought a very high quality wool scarf from there.Breakfast was smart, focus on quality rather than quantity. For example, the fresh bread and variety of local cheeses were exceptional, but there was little diversity of the food. The room is quite spacious and modern. The price is very easy on the pocket against the high quality you receive in the hotel.
The internal atmosphere of the hotel is a bit humid, perhaps from having an indoor pool.
We only stayed for one night. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The bar is a nice place to spend the evening. Breakfast was really good.
THe kids club should be focused on offering books and toys rather than tablets. But the girl who was taking care of the children was lovely.
Room was very nice and comfortable and the staff were helpful.
The area where the hotel is is not very attractive, right by a busy roundabout, but we were only staying overnight and it was useful for a stopover. The restaurant had a very limited menu which was disappointing.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful, restaurant also very good.
OMG, the hotel feels like a daycare, so many kids running around all day and all evening. The SPA is NOT A SPA it’s a kiddy pool, they cannot call themselves a SPA resort as the pool, hot tub, Saunas are full of yelling, jumping, screaming kids.. Children should not be allowed in the SPA area at all. We did complain to the staff about the kids jumping into the hot tub, staff did go out and stopped the kids, however, less than 5 minutes later they where back jumping in and out!!!
Breakfast had a very good quality, diversity of food, local food, friendly staff. The spa was quite nice on weekdays.Electrical charging for the car. Free parking.
Room was somewhat overheated.Lack of enforcement of rules in the spa for users with lack of common sense.
The services and the staff very helpful. A nice spa and a good restaurant. The room was good and comfortable.
We were 2 adults, 1 kid and a baby. Reserved a room for 3 adults and had to pay extra for a baby cod.
The breakfast was really good and the dinner is buffet and delicious. The room is comfortable and have a lot of space, is really big. The decoration of the room is quite nice too. The gym and SPA is ok and the pool is huge. Even with a lot of people the pool remains with enough space. The lounge is comfortable and there is live music at evening. Really comfortable and enjoyable
The room had some damages on some parts and some construction details were forgotten. Even being beautiful and comfortable, seems to miss something on the room to be more cozy and a 4 star room
The hotel is well located for city access, the main roads and up to he Serra da Estrela
The meals were well below the standard we have previously experienced. The room temperature was fine during the day but was far too hot for sleeping. Even switching off the Heater/AC unit failed to make any difference. The only option was to sleep with window open and hope it was not too cold.
Ambience, thoughtfulness, environment. Staff goes extra mile to ensure they do what we needed / want, including restaurant staff.
I like everything. Maybe cleaning of room can be improved but all is okay.
The staff and the food
Too many noise kids running in the hotel and between the chairs in the restaurant. The room was too hot
Very helpful staff at reception and in the bar & restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable and there was easy onsite parking for our motorbikes. The buffet breakfast was excellent with very varied options. The spa and swimming pools were great, no charge to use the pools (one indoor & one outdoor) or jacuzzi.Great location for interesting motor bike rides.
The evening meals were not quite as good as we have enjoyed before when there was a super buffet each evening, but now only occasionally. No other negatives.
Location
Unconformable beds, bed sheets. The luminosity of the room was very poor. The armchair was Unconformable. You need to pay for everything, including games. How does a Spa hotel don't have some activities?
Just good hotel for right price. Breakfast has wide choice of bread, cakes, yoghurt, fruits etc. We also had diner in the restaurant with a 3 course menu for a good price. Lots of parking spaces.
Friendly staff, good restaurant and bar prices. Comfortable room. Big car park.
It’s easy to hear the people in the room next door and in the hotel corridor.
