Beautiful rooms and pool. Lovely location. Everything was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was nice and the evening restaurant was fabulous.

There's no reception, so no one to ask questions to or make simple requests about the room easily. It wasn't really a big issue but not 100% ideal. We would stay here again though.

Wonderful facilities, tastefully decorated, gourmet restaurant, very friendly owners and staff!

The room was spacious and clean, with a large shower. Dinner selection at in-lodging restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast variety was great. Staff was friendly and courteous. We wished we could have stayed an extra night or two.

I called the property in advance, if there was the possibility to checkin or drop off my suitcase, as the purpose of my trip was for a funeral. After the wake I would arrive late at the property. Super friendly staff received my suitcase and dropped it into my room and was there upon my arrival.

The room was cold late at night upon arrival. As a courtesy it would have been nice to have the heating turned on.

Spacious room, easy parking.

1. As we were travelling we couldn’t do the online check in, stayed at the door ringing for several minutes;2. No elevator. No fridge, no safe box inside the room;3. The hotel has a restaurant and unfortunately our room was located right above it. After shower and getting comfortable by 22:30 the noise was incredibly loud. Calling the hotel, they said what can we do this is Christmas time dinners, so people make sure. After insisting she said she would speak with them, and offered to move us to another room - we declined, we were in our pajamas, bags unpacked, move at that time? Why did the hotel not think ahead?By 23:30 noise ensured, as normal as it is for a Xmas dinner.4. Breakfast was limited, I was asked not cut open a croissant by the toaster because I would create dirty. Very rarely I post any negative feedback, but this was by far the worst stay in the past years.

The hotel is a beautifully restored old building in the heart of Covilha's historic centre. Our room was quite small but the bed was huge and very comfortable. We had dinner in the bistro, and the food was great (though we had to ask the waiter to warm the plates). Breakfast was superb.

The building is accessed via steep narrow lanes - not for the faint-hearted driver! Our room was on the second floor but there is no lift.

Very pleasant stay, friendly restaurant staff, very clean, fantastic view, less than 10 min walk to town center, downhill, but easily walkable on return, uphill.

Location was great near the city center.Staff were kind, welcoming and helpful - also spoke multiple languages (English)Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean.The restaurant / bar was fantastic aswell, the food was the best I had in Covilha while I was on my trip over.

Honestly, it was fantastic to stay there. Perhaps just letting people know that checkout is automatic, but honestly it was pretty much perfect

Very comfortable, clean and private accomodation in old modernized house. The area is peaceful and quiet. I recommend the place. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Amazing place. The staff is so friendly and helpful with everything. They were really sweet with our little girl as well. Good and fresh breakfast.It's a beautiful building with spacious rooms and it's very clean. Location is perfect in the middle of the old town.The restaurant downstairs is really good for diner. High quality for a good price.I would definitely recommend this place.

It was a decent place to stay for one night during a road trip. The staff was helpful, and all communication worked well (via WhatsApp). The room was clean.

The bed was a bit too hard to my taste. The room was maybe lacking something decoration-wise; however, it is not a bad place at all to stay in for a night or two.

Staff was super friendly, hotel was really well located, room got nice views from town, restaurant got amazing food! If it was warm, the hotel also got a great pool / patio area

Bed was too soft for me (but this really up to personal taste)

Big, stylish rooms with huge bath and comfy beds. Nice pool area. Easy, contactless check-in. Very good breakfast with quality ingredients and very friendly staff. If there will be private parking available it would be definitely 10*

Lovely staff and a great room! We did some hikes and on the days that it rained the free Netflix was good to have. The town itself is cosy and has a relaxed atmosphere.

Spacious room and good bathroom. Air-conditioned. Comfortable bed. Directions to property ok but none given to leave. Breakfast in bistro on site. Dinner also available in Bistro.

Street parking was a matter of luck. Coded access to property sent on day of check in assumes access to smart phone. No lift or reception. All information provided on line assumes familiarity with technology.

Breakfast was great. Location good for parking and walk into town.

The location was great, the communication was great, the room was great, the bistro dinner was great, the breakfast was great ?

The pool bar was not open either day we were there
