    Pros +

    • The hotel feels like an oasis in the town. The pool area is very serene. Staff is very kind and helpful. Pet friendly. Good breakfast. Tastefully decorated.
    • Friendly staff, nice hotel.
    • The decoration. The staff. The bartender was from Angola and was so kind. The breakfast was quite good. The swimming pool was very nice.

    Cons -

    • Materials used and construction is extremely cheapPoor sound isolationLeaky showerMoldy water bottle in the roomSpa was completely turned off, pool not operating at the expected temp
    • The villas are not worth the price difference. Although large and spacious they lack privacy if on the ground floor. The access to the ground floor villas in only from the front side(and there are no windows on any other side) so you have to walk directly in front of other villas to access your own. When inside you either have to stay inside the room with shades closed or forget about privacy. These rooms don't feel like "premium" rooms or villas (except for size) because of this.
    • Small pool

The decoration. The staff. The bartender was from Angola and was so kind. The breakfast was quite good. The swimming pool was very nice.

The toilet has no privacy. Glass doors. Very bad. Lights blinking in several places in the bedroom through all night.

Very nice in general. Beautiful facilities and friendly staff! Spa area is very good.

Beds could be nicer and breakfast too.

The boutique hotel is super cozy, with amazing and super friendly staff! They’ve taken the initiative to help us with restaurants reservations for Christmas eve and dinner… I felt extremely grateful and happy about the treatment that we had :)

The hotel room is very good! The shower is amazing and bed super comfortable, but the pillow was a bit flat for my taste. Also, the inside pool could be kept warmer! But overall the hotel is very good!

The staff was really great, nice and helpful, with a special shout out to Edwin, who always made sure everything was ok, and always around to help. The breakfast is very nice as well, with fresh juices and a lot of variety. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Overall it was a really good experience.

Nothing to point, everything was great.

I liked the architecture of the hotel, with an excellent apartment, very clean and large. The hotel has a lot of facilities that maybe used by the guests. There's a very good restaurant, which I recommend.

Nice design of the hotel, spacious area of sauna and swimming pool, delicious breakfast, welcoming drink.

Not possible to open the windows in the room. No hangers for towels in the bathroom and outside of the sauna.

Absolutely wonderful staff, all extremely courteous and helpful.Delicious breakfast, in particular the croissants and fresh, all natural, orange juice. Staff were extremely accommodating and provided us with lactose free milk.

The SPA wasn't great, mainly the pool, whose water was cooler than expected (we asked to turn it up a bit but when we went the next day it was still a bit cold) and the "waterfall" wasn't working. The room was quite small, literally just a room with an en-suite.

Lovely traditional town house, tastefully renovated with a modern twist. Deliciously fresh breakfast both mornings with good quality produce. It was very dog friendly which was a bonus for us. The staff were helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel

Our room at the front of the building was rather noisy with traffic on the cobble road. In my opinion having the basin in the bedroom rather than the bathroom didn’t work.

A really lovely hotel with a calm, relaxing atmosphere, helpful & friendly staff and a lovely pool.

    No much!

    7RolandPosted on: 8-12-2024

Nice swimming pool and friendly staff

The AC in the room we got was not working. But we quickly got another room. The food in the restaurant was not good. I ordered duck breast and the inside was raw although they cut it in strips. Very strange that the chef did not notice this. The lighti switches in the room were very confusing and illogical. The bed was too hard. Finally, the checkout took ages because none of the receipts were in their computer system.

The most ideal location in covilha, easy access to busses out of town, completely peaceful, housing the best restaurant in town with the cleanest most fresh pool, extremely nice staff and excellent service. Only minor drawback was that breakfast didn't start until 8.30 and we get up at 6.30 and there was no coffee in the room ? Everything else was just perfection

A beautiful restoration property with incredible interior design. Lovely pool and sun terrace. Very welcoming team and a huge range of food for breakfast.Great view from the terrace.

The refurbishment of bedrooms with laminate flooring is very effective but it does mean that some sound from room above can be heard.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while. Small and very cozy. The best part was the warmth of all the staff. Definitely coming back!
