Parador de Cruz de Tejeda

The view is simply fantastic. Welness available, my wife loved it.

The furniture is OK but old. The breakfast is OK but too expensive for what it is: for example there is no fresh fruit juice. The orange juice supplied tastes artificial. However overall an excellent stay.

Hotel location is the deal breaker here. Stunning sunsets on dinner or from room terrace. Nice staff and very good dinner (incl. chocolate deserts) we had here.

They have limited options for breakfast, but still acceptable.

Breakfast staff were short staffed. Too busy moving dirty dishes and table cloths to take your order for breakfast. I had to beg for tea don’t really cater for english. Natives got preferred service. Coffee machine temperamental. 18 euros for continental breakfast. TV didnt work I had to ask receptionist to come room twice. Room ok clean but dated. Bathroom needed re grouting bad it was tired. Views unreal. If you are a hiker perfect for you. Spa mediocre. Needed deep clean. Very tired. Jacuzzi not clean. Pool area brown stains on tiles. Not attractive. One sauna one steam. Tiny compared to size of hotel. No bar area. Just one huge sitting area. Again no tv in this space no bar either. A cafeteria with really uncomfortable seating. Strange set up. The hotel is huge not using its full potential. Dinner was gourmet staff slightly rude as its pretending to be Michelin starred. Food cold when arrived. Top price. Tastless risotto. Luke warm fish balls. Standard wine. The only good thing was the baileys coffees which were hot. All in all a wierd vibe. Beautiful views. Expensive 2 nights. If you are not a hiker or cyclist there is nothing to do. Except read which is nice to an extent. No socialising nothing. Wouldn’t go again. There is another hotel up the road.

We like the hotel, mainly because of its location. The breakfast was good, although a bit overpriced. The food selection was quite decent, but the quality of ingredients varied. It's a pity that coffee, tea, and hot dishes have to be ordered separately. The buffet is only cold.

I loved this place, perfect to relax. The infinity pool in the spa is amazing! The team working in this place is so nice. They were very warm and welcoming. We felt so good there, hope we can come back soon!! Thanks for everything!

The location and the views were breathtaking! Loved the old Spanish charm of the decor, especially sitting by the fire in the beautifully decorated greatroom. The spa pools were a highlight!

Literally everything - great location, amazing views from the room, lovely staff, great food in the restaurant with delicious dinners and breakfast. Everything was exceptional. If we are ever back to Gran Canaria, it will be in Parador!

Blown away by the natural beauty and fresh air of Cruz de Tejeda. The Parador was wonderful , Amazing views from our room and the restaurant, bar and terrace. The understated, sophisticated design of the hotel complete with great modern art was lovely and relaxing. The spa was stunning, it was a little on the pricey side but that infinity pool overlooking nature's drama was incredible and awe inspiring.Staff were great and very helpful. Our stay was memorable. The drive up to Cruz de Tejeda from the south of the island was quite challenging butvwe are so glad we did it.

The hotel and the location are amazing. We also did a Spa session and the outdoor infinity pool is an incredible experience and view. Hiking trails direct from the hotel are excellent and easily accessible. We had a great stay. The only (very minor) suggestion would be to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room.We had a great stay and will surely visit again. Nathan and Elisa

View from our room was amazing! The room size is very OK. A reservation must be made at the SPA center for the time slot of your visit. The outdoor pool is wonderful. Try to choose a time slot with less people, around 17:00 it gets very busy and loud.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Hot dishes must be ordered at the table, but the service staff is so busy that it is difficult to place an order. The food is brought cold and tasteless. The buffet selection is small. Not worth the money paid.

Outstanding location, fantastic room with balcony. Exceptional friendly staff, great lounge to relax in. Good food at dinner and one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had. A wonderful stay altogether

What an amazing hotel and spa, the location is absolutely stunning and views are overwhelming.Staff are extremely friendly and very good English too ? Definitely will be back ??????

The spa closes at 8pm so we unfortunately missed that so if you want to make the full use of the hotel and the facilities arrive early, we was touring the island so it was the hotels fault just be aware it's closes at 8pm
