Hotel Il Vecchio Mulino

Our stay was exceptional! The staff was phenomenal and answered any and all questions we had. The room was quaint and charming with a large bed, air conditioning, a good size bathroom and patio. Our daughters shared a double room with two American-sized twin beds, and the same amenities as ours. Breakfast was provided and excellent with juices, meats, cheeses, fruits, pastries and eggs. The coffee was to-die-for, and the staff made us all the espressos and cappuccinos we could want each morning. We were in Arbetax visiting family friends, so sadly we did not partake in the evening wine service. The location was good and centrally located and within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Just a mile or two up the road was a cute little shopping district with beach and gift shops and restaurants. And, I must mention the bonus staff member, Romeo, the absolute sweetest cat! As an added bonus, the hotel did provide beach towels as needed for a nominal rental fee.

The hotel is a reconditioned old mill which is great and presents an unusual yet quaint setting

Absolutely nothing, our stay was perfect.

Incredibly friendly staff, delicious breakfast, very clean. Air conditioning worked great. Stefano was even kind enough to help us arrange a boat tour along the Baunei Coast.

The hotel was easy to locate, had beautiful decor and rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and friendly staff were happy to help out. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants (10% discount offered at a number of nearby place - Bonobo was delicious!)Rooms had air conditioning en-suite and were very dark and quiet for the afternoon siesta! Easy access parking right in front of the hotel at o extra cost.Breakfast was nice foods in the garden court years and the staff can cater to dietary needs.

Only one pillow each on the bed.

The location of the hotel is in a quiet residential area and is very easy to access and park. The hotel has a lot of character. In terms of the decor of the room, it's somewhat more vintage, but maintains a lot of the modern amenities where it matters. The outdoor patio was absolutely charming, and the breakfast spread was delicious. The staff is also wonderful.

I don't know if it was just our room, but the floorboards were extremely creaky and made a lot of noise.

The best hosts ever, very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.For the motorcycle's was offered place in garage for free. Near by plenty good restaurants.Great value for the price.

Room, location & breakfast

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was lovely. The breakfast filled us up for the day. It is in a nice quiet area, but also you can walk to restaurants that are very close, and in about a half an hour you can walk to other sights and beaches.

The breakfast was great, but sometimes the pastries seemed a bit old.

We stayes there for only one night but we really enjoyed staying there and parking possiblejust in front of the hotel. Really nice rooms and super cute patios. The breakfast was really good. Would a 100% recommend.

Very charming hotel with lovely small patios used for breakfast and lounging, very helpful staff and located in a quiet side street. Breakfast was excellent. Check in done online in advance makes it much quicker on arrival so one can relax straight away

Location is quiet but for the same reason a bit far from commodities 15 min walk aprox.

This is a family owned business with lots of Charme and character. The rooms are unique and situated quite privately. There are beautiful sitting spaces outside and inside and parking right out front.

No AC in the reception nor in the hall.We probably wouldn't have noticed it at any other time, but we came during a heatwave, and you could feel the big difference between the temperature of the room and the hall.

The hotel is a well refined gem in the middle of Arbatax. They have a nice garden where you can enjoy your breakfast or an aperitivo before dinner. The staff is lovely and always available for tips and suggestions.The breakfast is excellent. The parking is free and the nearest beach is 15 minutes walk.
