- The Monte Turri Hotel is a magical place, with extraordinary beauty. An oasis, a place to escape from this somewhat broken world. The rooms are beautiful, the pool, the park, the private beach, and the entire staff are all wonderful. There's plenty of greenery and lucky animals that inhabit it. Highly, highly recommended!Special mention to Cinthya, who assisted us during our cliffside swims, very experienced and reassuring, and Juan at the reception, who provided us with great professionalism, although truly everyone was extremely professional.
Cons -
- Our restaurant had closed for the season for evening meals. Sun beds were uncomfortable
- Hotel restaurant closed earlier in the month - not informed at any stage when booking.Promised a plug adapter - never arrived. Seemed to be more than the reception could manage…Went to the pizzeria elsewhere in Arbatax resort. Refused any pizza because the chef hadn’t turned up to work. And yet some people got pizzas… go figure.
- We were overall disappointed with the hotel and facilities. For a resort that claims to be eco friendly, we drove in past a fenced/tarped in area that looked like a landfill overflowing with trash. We didn't stay here for eco reasons, but it was actually quite foul. We couldn't figure out how to access the animal park (we think the gates may have been closed), but it also looked unclean from driving past it. The room itself was very hard to find on the property. After 20 minutes of trying to follow the map we were provided, going up and down elevators, and numerous flights of stairs, we found our room outside. The room was a good size, but was very dark even with lights on and windows open, and the air conditioning was the worst we experienced in Italy (we get it, Europe doesn't do A/C, but this was unbearably hot and humid). The location was also kind of strange, but it was a short drive into town.

Room was a great size (I think we were upgraded from what we booked) with bedroom and living area downstairs, two bathrooms, and another upstairs living area. Views were beautiful of Cala Moresca from the property.

The tower room was very spacious, with great amenities. Breakfast was lovely choice of salt and sweet. The beach access is just amazing.
The location is a bit far out from other sights to see. Though the hotel might be adults only, all facilities (pool, beach acces...) are shared with other hotels on the resort that do allow kids. Does get noisy during the day. The hotel was also dealing with a wasp plague on the terrace (where you'd have breakfast or dinner with amazing views).
Beautiful location. Helpful staff. Excellent food
Have no complaints at all
Breakfast was very good and view outstanding from terrace. We had a beautiful room - furnished well, clean, very large with fantastic terrace area with relaxing sofa. The sea was clear, warm and stunning to swim in. Plenty of sun beds around the resort.
Evening menu was very limited and mainly seafood which meant we could not eat at the restaurant and my husband does not eat seafood. We ate at the buffet in the shared resort which was very reasonably priced and adequate. If you have poor mobility then do not consider staying here as the walk up from the sea to the top of the resort is difficult and we are relatively fit.
The property was NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. We didn’t stay.
We waited three hours to talk to a manager to move hotels. He NEVER showed up and the front desk wouldn’t let us speak to him on the phone. This hotel is part of a large group on hotels on one huge property. We moved to a second hotel on the property and waited for three hours for rooms that were equally awful. They charged us full price and would not give us the rate they posted online.
This hotel has a beautiful location and i guess this is the only reason for me to stay there.
No cash system is a very bad idea. Breakfast was poor. No choices of salty food. Communication was bad between receptionist and guests. And a little bit of over rated, when we booked through booking we choose a nice room from the pictures they provide. While when you arrive you see the reality that it’s an old hotel with old everything. Even the room was nothing like the pictures. It was a basement in the hotel that has a little window, no air coming, and no light. The only thing that made me stay that they finally changed my room after many requests and when i discovered the rest of the resort and got access to the beach i was more happy and relaxed. And for the Spa, well i was more happy if i was informed that it takes exactly one hour walking to arrive to the Spa that we could also have access with the car, but the receptionist never explained that we could go with the car and said only 20min walk.
Amazing location! Stunning views from the restaurant and the room. Staying at the hotel gives you access to the whole Arbatax park which is very cool! There’s a private rocky beach too, which is ideal to relax! I loved the little balcony with the walls covered with plants and the sea view! Very relaxing very romantic!
There is some room for improvement. The staff did not speak English.. so it was difficult to order at the restaurant or ask for info when moving around with the shuttle of the hotel. Also the restaurant could offer a few more options since there were only 3 options for pasta and 3 for main. So if you stay there for more nights you can’t eat there everyday even though the view is gorgeous. Also we stayed there for 3 nights and the toiletries were never replaced so we had to use the last drop of shampoo the last day. Small things that need improvement other than that beautiful stay!
Hotel Monte Turri is a true gem that offers a spectacular experience. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. The staff is warm and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. The Sardinian cuisine served at the hotel is a delightful culinary journey. I highly recommend Hotel Monte Turri to anyone looking for an exceptional Sardinian getaway.
Fantastic view from spatious room on the top. Confortable, cosy, clean. Huge warderobe, spatious bathroom with dressing gowns and slippers. Cosy room with plenty of space. Nice and quiet. Fantastic staff, courteous, helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the most fabulous setting with mile- wide view. Sumptuous, impeccably served breakfast- again and again served by friendly, helpful and relaxed professionals. Good service all through, all the week we spent there. It was money well spent choosing the " adults only".
My stay could have been a couple of days longer.
A beautiful resort with a stunning view and access to the beach and several pools.
The room had a bit of a chlorine smell that didn’t disappeared even with the windows open.
The view and the place was simply amazing. Monte Turri sits on the top of a cliff proudly bearing the see. We really liked the fact that Monte Turri sits very quietly around two eco resorts. Animals like monkeys, boars, goats are walking freely is this big park which is a little green paradise. The room was very confortable in a perfect and suffisant simplicity. The employees were very kind, always ready to give informations and help us. The breakfast was alright with a large proposal of sweet or salty food and a majestic view. The beaches were also very beautiful and not to crowded at all.We loved the peacefullness of the place, perfect to relax and to make one with its stone walls and nature.
Sadly the panoramic lift was not functional.
Spacious room and bathroom, staff was very helpful to suggest restaurants in the area. The beaches in the resort are nice and quiet, with umbrellas to be used by hotel guests. Kayaks and sups available too. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel restaurant is closed for dinner, and the only possibility by foot is within the resort complex and a buffet for 25 euros pp (more catered to families than to couples)apart from the breakfast, selection and food wasn’t great within the resort.
Gorgeous location, very clean and comfortable.
The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner which was very disappointing.
The hotel itself was lovely and the grounds are beautiful with access to a gorgeous beach and part of the big Arbatrax resort was useful.
The staff were not very accommodating or conscientious. We were often faced with odd rules which made customer experience rather poor. For example, we weren’t allowed even any water from the bar until it opened despite being only 10 minutes early, we weren’t allowed to refresh our beach towels without paying a large deposit for new ones. The staff don’t make you feel particularly special that’s for sure! The rooms were nice but a little dark, the cleaning level was OK but not great. By the end of the week we were very glad to leave. The wardrobes and cupboards smelt like damp and the coffees/waters in the rooms were not refreshed during our stay. The breakfast was great.
rich design, clean and quiet, friendly staff, private stay

The nature is amazing, with lots of animals and gardens. The animals are walking freely through the resort (met 2 little boars on my way to the spa and many dears and dunkeys). Very quiet and relaxing ambient. The beach, although rocky, was clean and very beautiful. Thumbs up for the omlett at breakfast, delicious!
The rooms are very humid and everything gets easily wet (bedsheets, clothing, etc.). The dinner is not included, however, you can dine at the resort's Cala Borgo restaurant. The food is not the best. It is a buffet and they charge 25 EUR / person, independently of what you eat. You can eat much better for the same price in Arbatax town.
The location was great in Arbatax, easy to get around the the view was pretty amazing. The breakfast staff were friendly!
The reception staff were very reserved and often not very helpful in navigating the hotel and area. Oftentimes, they were not present at all. For the price of 230 Euros per night and a four star, you would expect better service and amenities
