    Pros +

    • There is a lot to do at the resort
    • The beaches were very lovely but steep and a bit rocky so be prepared. The breakfast was nice but average.
    • Room was comfortable and quiet. Clean.

    Cons -

    • Hard to get too, hard to move around within the resort. Dirty, lot of areas for activities where closed.
    • I would say the food was just ok - not as good as some of the food outside of the hotel
    • The beach was rocky and not as clear water as others; murky. Too many whiney kids for me, not a place to go if you're looking for quiet but obviously great for families with kids.

I liked that it was located directly on the sea shore

A lot. Their check in process was hell. Parking lot was very far.You had to take two buses to get to your room. No one tells you where to go and what to do. Complete chaos. They dumped us with our luggage at some random place and made us climb uphill with heavy suitcases. They gave us the worst room at the very end of the resort without any view and a horrid smell of some burnt food from nearby facility. Our safe was broken and our door lock was broken. When I went to complain and change the room they lied to me that it wasn’t possible because they were booked.I had to raise my voice and miraculously, there was a room with the sea view. Then, to smooth everything out the manager offered us a free dinner at their buffet. The food at this resort is pretty bad as well.

The resort grounds may look nice, and the surrounding nature is indeed beautiful. But annoying loud music plays all day at the main pool, and even basic courtesy is missing. I saw a couple with two small children in strollers asking for help getting to the parking lot. The answer? “No, sorry.”The only redeeming feature of this resort is its location—the beach, the views, and the natural beauty. But if you value comfort, service, and a stress-free experience, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

I’ve never written a review before, but this place truly pushed me to do it. I’ve stayed in many hotels throughout my life—some good, some bad—but never have I felt the urge to complain. This resort, unfortunately, represents the worst management I’ve ever encountered. It’s baffling how so little can be done with so many resources. The basics: the staff are unhelpful to the point of being hostile, often making guests feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, specially at the reception. Breakfast is chaotic and poorly managed, and the food throughout the resort is consistently terrible. The room service woke me up two days in a row at 8 a.m. insisting on cleaning. There’s no kettle or even a glass in the room. A fridge holds two tiny bottles of water meant to last your entire stay. The phone in the room doesn’t work, so if you need anything, you’ll have to walk ten minutes to the reception—where the staff are hands-down the most unhelpful I’ve ever encountered. They speak very limited English and those who do often pretend not to understand. Forget asking for local information or directions—they simply have no idea. The food is another disaster. Breakfast is chaotic and of poor quality. Despite more staff than guests, you’ll still find yourself waiting in line everywhere. As for the restaurants, they’re an outright scam: €40 for an awful buffet. Bars are equally disappointing—bartenders don’t know basic recipes, mix whatever they want, and charge you like it's a premium cocktail bar.

This place captures everything you love about Sardinia: pristine beaches, crystal-clear water, and that warm Mediterranean vibe. The natural setting makes it unique, and the chill atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. Can’t wait to come back!

Their ethos of a Green Resort

Unfortunately our room/bedding smelt of damp.We were only visiting for two days so just aired the room ourselves.Had we been staying longer we would have requested a room change. The room was lovely though and very clean, just damp.

    7AgataPosted on: 10-8-2024

The coastline and private beaches were stunning. That made our stay in the resort. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast wasn’t good, very limited options. Too many cakes/pastries, not enough veggies and fruit options or hot meals options. The resort is run down, it needs some work to look better.

Nice and well-decorated bedroom with gorgeous sea view. It was equipped with a new AC, minibar, closet and a spacious bathroom.Good nature atmosphere, beautiful beaches and wide range of pools which are very well maintained.Helpful staff.

Average food for breakfast and way way overpriced restaurants for dinner (absolutely didn’t expect 70€ for 2 in a cantina-like buffet and in low season…).Lot’s of mosquitoes everywhere inside the resort. Seriously recommend bringing repellent. Not a criticism, but to us wasn’t clear on Booking the dimension of this resort. It is really huge and to get from your room to parking lot for instance you need to take a bus unless you want to climb up the hills for 20min or more. Also if you want to go for a further place you either walk the distance or need to wait for the shuttle, which can also take up to 20min waiting. It’s something to consider specially if you’re there for only a few days like we did and want to take the most out of your experience there.

The view is nice and quiet but the food was terrible, we had to go at nearby restaurants for dinner

    Stay away

Nothing this place is a piece of crap. Dont stay here. What you see is not what you get. I had to leave and had to rebook another hotel. They charge multiple fees for some reason.

The resort is fairy-tale like! The staff was truly lovely, friendly and always in a good mood. Once you arrive, you are picked up and escorted to your room. It is a large resort so it definitely means lots of walking. But, there is a bus which you can take to bring you to the points you want to go. However, we loved walking, especially in the park Bellavista. Due to the change of the staff which recently happened, the food quality improved. It was very delicious and both, breakfast and dinner, offered a variety of options for all tastes. I would definitely come back one more time.

The rooms in Dune require a bit of renovation but when you look at the whole picture more closely, it is a huge huge resort and taking care of it requires a lot of time and a lot of financial means, which is definitely challenging and needs to happen gradually.

Great location. Rooms clean and spacious.

Less than ideal parking situation, you have to wait for a shuttle that runs only every 20mn from the parking to a drop off point and then you still have to walk 5/10mn to your room depending of it's location in the resort. A real deal breaker especially for the price.

    10BriahnaPosted on: 9-6-2024

The resort is amazing and very large. The resort is so large they have a bus to transport you around if needed. The private beaches are beautiful and there are water activities there as well!

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. The resort is really beautiful and had friendly staff. The only thing (that I found even consider negative) is you have to have the desire to stay on the resort. The resort is so large if you want to leave you have to wait for the bus to take you to your vehicle. It’s hard to explore more of the island of Sardegna because of the size and location.

    8DraganPosted on: 9-2-2024

Food, breakfats and dinner OK bit more of variety would make better picture. Place is very natural, if you like greenery around you definitely place to stay . Beaches OK

The best thing was extremely helpful and polite manager Miss Barbara she is soul of hotel.

    7KarleighPosted on: 9-1-2024

We loved our stay! Very quiet and relaxing environment. The only thing I didn’t quite enjoy was the food on site but we left the resort for food outside the resort. We ate dinner there one night and the price was quite expensive compared to the quality we received. Staff were so kind and helpful. We also enjoyed the spa to really relax!

    5VanessaPosted on: 9-1-2024

The property is huge and very well located and connected to the nature and staffs very friendly. The views are stunning and the water is unbelievable clean, different spots up to the stones that can enjoy the sea and jump into the water.

Facilites are quite old, need an improvement like AC, furniture, bed, etc. Regarding food we went in two different restaurants and nobody came to look after us, we were literally ignored by the staffs and had to walk way, very disappointing. The breakfast is not what you expect from a resort, no variety of fruits, the orange you have to peel yourself but there is no knife for it, the juice is awful and the place was surrounded by bees what was awkward because my wife is allergic to.

    Great place for family vacay

    - Wi-Fi and mobile data don't work at all in the room. If you're lucky, you can send a message out.- The car park is SO far, you need to take the resort bus which only runs every 30 min.- No fridge in the room- Didn't know it's a family resort full of kids

    10InnaPosted on: 8-8-2024

Very beautiful place! Water is clear, with beautiful fishes, you can find sand beaches or rock beaches and all of them are amazing and clean. I need to say that personal is very friendly and nice! Special thanks to reception service for being nice and helpful, «Dune» manager a very nice Woman? every day we had a clean service at the room with new towels. Dinners was delicious and various, a lot of meat, fish and seafood (but it also a loot of vegetables and fruits)

Firstly I found a Parking place too far from my room, but it is a huge resort and they have a bus every 30 min so with a time it was not a big problem. Breakfast can be more various but you can find everything what you need for normal breakfast and they have very tasty coffee.

    10EmmaPosted on: 8-1-2024

An amazing resort. The room was beautiful, amazing facilities, and the staff were lovely and super helpful. But the best part was the beaches! Clear blue water and close to the rooms.
