Lovely hotel food great big pool area on beach road close to all amenities but torrox not a big holiday resort plenty of bars restaurants not alot of entertainment at night all staff in hotel lovely and friendly and decent entertainment in hotel nightly would stop again

Prices of mixers 3 euros for a shot of what ever you add to your spirit so 9 euros a drink when bars around local area 6 euros so drank out mostly and room this time 2nd floor in corner no sun on balcony at all very dark room and one of smallest stayed in here

They charge me for safety box , it’s really funny )) Also when checking im they give us garbage view room with garbage smell to when windows open.

Great hotel, excellent facilities and food/drink. But the best bit was probably the staff, they were all hugely friendly and welcoming, particularly the kids club and restaurant staff.

If I was pushed to say something more critical, our room was perhaps starting to look a little tired, and looked out onto a residential street with bottle bank etc. But we could have paid more for a sea view, so I can't argue about the view.

This resort is good for families with kids aged between 3-10 years old. It has a huge pool with different depths, the sea is very close, and there is a small splash park also. Our children were rather played with us and each other, but the animators seems to be doing a good job entertaining kids. The variety of food and the quality is pretty good. The rooms are huge, you might spend more time here because the heat during the summer demands siesta time. What surprised me the most, that most of the staff, especially in the dining area is aged 50+, and they do a very-very good work, while being super nice to kids. The hotel is also a good compromise if you wish to make day trips to Malaga, Granada, Marbella, the Sierra Nevada, and even Gibraltar.

The dining area is not big enough, sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes to get in, and buffet tables are very crowded. Also, even though that there was a kitchen in our family suits, no mini-bar, or room service was available, so you either start to buy drinks at the souvenir shops, or awkwardly try to bring drinks with you from the dining area - both is a terrible solution. Yes, the they have water machines on every floor, but many times they were empty. The cleaning service tended to come at weird times, like 8am, or 7pm, but I suspect it was because they are overworked, any did a very good job anyway.

Quality and cleanliness of building and helpfulness and friendliness of staff and excellent food.

It was too full and crowded. Sometimes a long queue to enter the restaurant and queues for buffet items sometimes and very noisy everywhere. Not suitable for an old couple like us. Wonderful for families with young children. We see it has been described as a hotel for children. But the staff did their best to see we had a good time.

Great location just 1 minute walk from the beach. Very family friendly, a lot of activities for the children. Evening programs/shows were amazing. If you prefer a sea over a pool, water temperature is not that high as for example in Mallorca. Also a few days during our stay it was full of jelly fishes, so you have to be very careful when swimming.

You have to pay 3 Euro per day for a safe. People reserve sunbeds but sometimes even never use them

Great choice at breakfast! Right on the beach. Lovely terrace for drinks.

The wait to check in, when we had already checked in on line, there could have been a seperate queue for people who had already checked in on line! No sunbeds when we went down to have a swim.

Little gluten free options at dinner for my partner/ no signage to indicate options/ allergens All loungers at the pool taken with towels by 7.30am daily, no system in place to stop people taking a lounger and going out for the day which was clear was happening My little boy was disappointed that the mini disco in the evening was in the pool.....he wanted to dance. (Being very picky here)

Everything was perfect!! Very nice and clean hotel with so many activities. Miguel and the (blond lady) were very friendly and helpful. All the staff was very nice . I highly recommend the hotel!!

The staff was wonderful— from Miguel checking us in quickly to the fabulous massage from Carmen. And the hotel had every thing a person could want. The pool was the exact perfect temperature, the workout room was impressive, and there were all sorts of activities going on all day.

The food was good, but not great.

Very nice hotel located just in front of the beach. Excellent food, especially the sweets. Staff very helpful and polite.

Although the hotel is practically on the beach, it does not have its own beach facilities. Umbrellas must be rented from a third party.

Good location and pleasant staff.

Holiday camp hotel. Motorway style cafeteria, no chance of relaxing breakfast or dinner. Awful coffee machine that had long queues. Towels on sunbeds from 06.30am and in some cases not used until midday. So noisy and chaotic. Even staff admitted it was over booked !!!!

The entertainment staff were very good. Always smiling, always saying hello, remembered kids names. Very fun people.The photos we got from Guido were excellent, top quality.The junior suite was spacious.The facilities are good, the kids splash park, the small pool and the play park are fantastic. Our kids loved it.

My family is vegan. We did find options to eat for each meal but there were no deserts out that were vegan friendly. The chef did bring us a cake which was really nice but we had to ask and it's not always possible to find the chef to make this request.The chefs were friendly and did make us special vegan meals which was greatly appreciated. However, the language barrier was a big problem. Even if it's not possible to have chefs with excellent English, it would be sensible for another customer facing member of staff to assist with translation. As a guest, it's hard enough work trying to find who is the head chef, as they change frequently, and then again, wait for them to be available, then further to find the language to communicate needs. As simple assistance service should be offered, it's not a big ask but would make a huge difference to people with dietary requirements. The signs on dishes are not always there, so to have the chef do a show around is very helpful, we were never denied this, they were always willing but again, it was a lot of effort to find the right moment to do it when you just want to attend your meal and enjoy it.The lifts are far too small for parents with buggies and children. The doors are aggressive, they shut too quickly and quite hard.Smoking at pool side should be restricted to certain areas only. We had our children next to people on the sun beds smoking and distributing everyone around. Kids shouldn't be subjected to second hand smoke. Maybe this is a cultural difference, but that's my view.

it was good resort, good food

-we booked the room with a view of the pool but we didn’t get it and hotel told us that is problem of booking-the resort is in a terrible city, there is nothing there. it's only for people who want to be locked up in hotels

The room is not big, but has quite a large bathroom and balcony. The beds are wide and comfortable. Wonderful long pillows complete with small square ones. The stuff does a great job while remaining super friendly and polite. Everything was well organized. Wide choice of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, everyday (we stayed for a week) there was something new. Now I can't stop saying ¡Hola! instead of 'Hello' to everyone!

Spacious room with balcony and pool/sea view, cleaned every day. We had all inclusive and the meal was great, every dinner was a bit different (themed dinners - France, Mexico etc.) Just few steps from the beach and the promenade, nice 20 min. walk to the lighthouse. Helpful and pleasant staff. Star Camp programme children offered enouh activities every day. Mobile app worked well and we found that very useful. We would definitely recommed this hotel and the Sea-view Junior Suite.

We didn't try much the snack bar offer, since we were not hungry :-), but there is always something to choose from. But we didn't like the fact that cut fruits at the snack bar were exposed to the sunshine whole afternoon.

the pool, marble floors and buffer

air conditioning was bad in the room. very hot room. and my ipad was stolen from the property probably by the housekeeper . the buffet did not have seafood other than fish.
