Hotel Santa Rosa

the staff are great , the hotel is always clean and the people that do out the rooms are faultless .

i have complained on a few occasions that they could do with more vegetable meals but the last time they had quite a few also salmon and chicken which was great for me as im not a meat eater or fish.so 10 out of 10 for that. the breakfast could be better

Very quiet just before Easter weekend . Lovely hotel and basic room but very comfortable . Breakfast was nice with lots of options .

Super clean, right on the beach, powerful shower, restaurant breakfast and dinner was lovely

The view from sea view room was amazing. Quiet location. Car park across the road.

A little too quiet perhaps & while very clean room was extremely small.

I loved the location right on the beach ?️ Easy to walk to local restaurants and shops

Lovely Hotel in a Lovely part of Torrox Costa, we found a fab little beach bar within walking distance.

Lovely cosy hotel in a wonderful city , staff were fabulous and so helpful,also friendly

Was a little far out but was on a bus route so not really a problem

no electricity through the first night until around 10am

Best location. Out the back onto the beach. Halfway between two cities but with wonderful village vibe. Value for money couldn't be better. The receptionists are so lovely. Communication with the hotel was very good.

I thought dinner was a bit on the expensive side at €20, for basically a menu del dia. But it is a very small downside as everything else is wonderful. I hope to go back often.

Local to Torrox where we were meeting friends

Very hard to park close to hotel. The room was good, but the pillows were rock hard and made sleep difficult

Beach front. View to the sea. Swimming pool & sun beds. Had a lift. Large lounge area by reception .

For me it was too far away from the center of Torrox . You needed a bus every time to go anywhere. Very limited cafes & Bars on the main road until I found the Promenade between the beach & the line of Hotels & Apartments. Lots of Bars & cafes . I was not told they were there. Glad I found them .

certainly did not meet,what was expected.

cold bacon and eggs, no heated trays,why not, saff coooming in to get their breakfasts,a no no,bar at night never manned,had to find staff to find bar staff, then not very happy to serve a drink, management need to give the staff a shake up, or have staff that at least want to work,,standards very poor,3rd visit now definately gone down,not worth what was paid

It needs updating. Room was far too small. Breakfast was poor. Same scrambled egg was left there all morning

The position right on the beach was the best feature of the hotel. It was very clean and the cleaners were lovely and always said hello.Reception staff were very helpful and when I asked for shower attachment to wall could be mended they sorted it the same day.I could have coffee and toast with cheese and ham in the bar area rather than have full buffet breakfast . Bed was very comfortable with clean bedding.

No kettle and coffee/ tea making facilities in room. I saw other reviews so took a travel kettle.TV only showed Spanish TV no English channels.I didnt use the pool as it was too cold to go in fully. Only children used it whilst I was there probably as other adults felt the same.It was right at the end of the area so a long walk to where most of bars and restaurants in Torrox were.

Location was far end of the beach. The view was great. Some restaurants close but not that many.

the hotel is getting a bit old. Our balcony was very small and had 2 ACs on it so not much space left.

We don’t eat breakfast. Loved the location and the view. Staff very helpful. Would recommend this hotel

Our room had an excellent southerly aspect directly overlooking the beach.The staff were top class, friendly and efficient.There is 24 hour concierge cover.

The room safe was broken. The maintenance man spent ages trying to fix it unsuccessfully.The internet was not secure, but when I mentioned this to the reception staff they connected me to the office wifi which was excellent.Room to room soundproofing was poor. This was annoying as a guest in the next room made late night and early morning phone calls.There was an empty space for a fridge but no fridge or welcome tray.
