    Cons -

    • Bad (almost no) wifi on the 2nd floor. Thin walls (noises from neighbours).
    • WiFi didn't work in our room
    • It was pretty noisy in the room - very early in the morning (like 5 or 6 am) people down the street were having loud conversations. We heard everything and this couldnt sleep.

Very nice location, close to everything. Yet, it was a bit of a walk from the parking which was pretty uncomfortable with our suitcase but doable :)

Nice comfortable beds. Breakfast was available (extra charge) but we did not take it as we had other plans. The hotel was good value for money (was only 44 for the night) no bells or whistles. Was well situated right beside the main plaza in Torrox Pueblo. Good communication in advance with clear entry instructions.

    Tidy, charming, relaxed.

We did not get breakfast every day. It seems it should be ordered beforehand. Personnel were nice, even if we did not see them much.

Very clean and tidy excellent location for the town

Never saw anyone at reception - would have liked a hair dryer available from reception but there was never anyone there !

Fantastic Spanish Hotel! Great location and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Fab breakfast!

    Nothing...I loved it all!

Nothing very much. Very underwhelming hotel. The staff was very helpful.

The biggest problem was Black MOLD in the bathroom ceiling and the intense smell of humidity I couldnt sleep. (Or breathe properly)Not recommended for people with respiratory problems! We booked for 5/6 days, to visit the town etc, on our way to Portugal, and 2 extra days on our return home. All prepaid! We left after the first night and did not return there!

Great location only 2 minutes walk from the main plaza. Friendly and helpful staff. Bonus of terrace to enjoy outside space and spend quality time with a glass or two of wine. Recommend. Will be back again soon.

Small details but cutlery/crockery needs attention. Although there were plates and glasses just not enough if there were more than two people. Also the quilt on the double bed was not big enough. Such small details but needed mentioning.

Really no reason for going there

The only recommendable sort of traveller to this hotel is the backpackers who wouldn't mind walking up to this hotel because for cars there is NO CHANCE to park, or even to stop for a moment in front of the hotel because it is a one way street that leads to this hotel and the people in cars behind me nearly LYNCHED ME when I tried to unload my bags from the car. I am not exaggerating, it was reminiscent of a medieval movie scene of mob persecutes stranger! Unbelievable ! Having been through that I know now why the hotel gives no warning about that problem in their presentation, because they can't help the problem and it would put off anyone to go there if one knew this before. The hotel itself and its woke staff are anyway nothing more than mediocre, so really no reason for going there in the first place.

Hotel in a good location, last minute booking, contactless booking and check in was good. Room fine for a 2* hotel, and very good value for money. Disappointed with the state of the bathroom, nothing a good session with a scrubbing brush and some good cleaning products would not solve. There really is no excuse for black grout around the tiles

    See above..

    Great location, comfortable.

No staff was available ever. This is a self check-in and check out place. Difficult to find anyone for quick answers.

Great location in the heart of the village, friendly staff, freshly cooked eggs offered at breakfast. Spacious two room apartment with lovely mountain view. Big fridge.

Rather chilly in the bedroom in January, as air conditioning/heater located in the living room next door. Limited cooking facilities in the apartment (microwave, single hot plate).

    10GillPosted on: 2-1-2024

We had a lovely room with a little balcony. The receptionist was lovely. The Hotel is very traditional right in the centre of town.

There was no one at reception for most of our stay so I couldn't get a hairdryer.

    9MichaelPosted on: 1-24-2024

Great location. Large apartment with stunning views over mountains. 2 minutes walk to centre of Pueblo with bars restaurants shops etc. Staff friendly, with bonus through Genius on booking.com of free breakfast of bacon and choice of eggs and usual breakfast choices. We will be back, seems February may be soon enough. Only 87euros for 2 nights. Easy checking in and out on departure.

Apartment fairly basic but for 87 for two nights, bargain. No tea towel in kitchen and kettle, couple of large mugs to enjoy cuppa would be nice., But no real issues.
