Pros +
- Peaceful location with beautiful rural surroundings, perfect for relaxing walks. I liked the hotel’s refined style, the very good food in the restaurant, and the spa area, which was especially pleasant and relaxing.
- - Room with direct access to the pool- Pool very clean, and big- luck with other guests, not reserving pool chairs (besides 1 or 2 of them)- breakfast with variety for a Portuguese Mediterranean diet- room well cleaned- big places to know around the hotel- we can exange towels every day for the pool or spa
- Very comfortable hotel. Spa and outside pool outstanding and very convenient. Dinner very good in the restaurant. Bed very comfortable and nice bed linen
Cons -
- There was nothing I didn’t like.
- - Courtesy water was only given on the first day- In one day, the cleaning crew left the windows opened in a room with easy access from the pool, not safe at all.- lack of sound isolation, either between rooms and from the aisle
- Nothing but a little bit out of the way for the Camino. Not too far if walking along the Ecovia

Natural environment, pleasant landscape. Good restaurant on site.
Needs more comfort and cleanliness considering the price of the room.
Beautiful hotel, GREAT spa and fantastic massage!
The breakfast, specifically the coffee!!
Loved the spa, room was very comfortable and clean with nice patio. Breakfast was good.
Location was a bit far from everything but I knew this when booking.
SPA, o restaurante D.Julio e o Bar TantoFaz
Very good spa and hotel surroundings.
Breakfast could be better.
breakfast was great, convenience of the restaurant was also great which had amazing food and wine choices
A workout room would be great. While there are great outdoor spaces for exercise, its difficult to be outdoors in the winter when its raining.
The tennis court, outside swimming pool, and inner spa felt great and good value for money, unlike other hotels in which I stayed in the past. All of them were comfortable. The spa was not crowded, at least not on my first day (Thursday). We did share it with two families, but there was plenty of space to enjoy and have some privacy. On my second day (Friday, which was a national holiday), the hotel parking lot was filled, and breakfast had way more guests too. I did not use the Spa facilities that day, but I reckon it would be less interesting or comfortable. I'd avoid going on "crowd" weekends.
Allegedly there are farm animals within the hotel boundaries, but you can only see them from afar, the entry to their "park" is walled and gated. The best you can see are the chickens next to a fence. That's okay, I assume they want to ensure animals remain calm and comfortable, but in that case the hotel should not advertise the presence of animals as a "feature".
Great outdoor pool, nearby restaurant for dinner, and onsite breakfast. Outdoor sitting in room and lots of amenities.
Location is a bit out of the way, we were visiting for a festival in coura, wasn’t enough parking spots at night.
Spa facilities were really nice during the week, but unusably crowded starting Friday evening.Breakfast was good.
The hotel had a modern design but was visibly worn. When booking, I chose this hotel due to advertised bike rentals and horseback riding. I was expecting a more rural farm atmosphere, but it's actually located on a busy highway with mostly industrial buildings in the area. They only had 2 bikes available for rent, so my family had to find an alternative for bike rentals in the area. The restaurant situation was odd. The only option in the actual hotel was a bar with mostly cold sandwiches open 12-8pm. The actual dinner restaurant and the evening bar that they claim are part of the hotel are actually in a separate building next door, across a parking lot. There didn't seem to be any option to add the charges to the hotel room, so I don't believe they are related at all. The dinner restaurant had both mediocre food and service for it's price. The bar food was acceptable.
I like the outdoor pool and the easy access from floor 1, lovely staff and comfy bed and nice shower pressure.
Some noise from people accessing spa and the spa was really crowded and it's not so big.
Large grounds with forest and lake just off the highway— was a pleasant surprise. Lots of free parking and large outdoor and indoor pools. There is a great bar/restaurant on the same property which saved us while we were there.
The rooms were extremely basic, with barely tolerable pillows and bath towels which resembled hand towels. The rooms seemed to be a grade below the rest of the amenities.
Expansive. Worth while to take a break on your journey in El Camino de Santiago. This is the place to rest. Amenities were numerous. Staff was excellent.
They closed the Spa area way too early, just when you need it the most.
Outdoor poolFriendly staffRestaurant in the property high quality chef food at a fair price
The most amazing spa I've ever seen. Simply complete to your wellness. Breakfast with plenty of options. Very quite.
I've missed a place inside the hotel to buy stuff like water, snacks and more, out of the bar schedule.
The hotel and outdoor spaces, in general, were taken care of and looked good. Good breakfast. Good outdoor pool with bar. The room was spacious enough and clean. The staff was nice as well.
Very attentive staff, super clean, good breakfast, lovely pool and grounds. Great pool view from the room. Restaurant was good value for money. Fantastic spa too!
Bed was a little too soft for my liking, more options to hang clothes in the room would have been useful
Good staff
The breakfast isn't so good. Artificial eggs, no fried eggs, no natural orange juice
