Hotel Trabuco

I was greeted by Pablo at reception and he was so helpful and spoke English with me as my Spanish is not great...he was extremely helpful and nothing was a any trouble for him...top man..

It's good for the price. Rooms are clean. Location is good.

Very basic, small room, dated decor, asked for extra pillow but was told there aren’t any

Staff very friendly, 24 hr reception, close to beach, bars and restaurants

Room furniture in need of upgrade, shower door missing, shower head falls off hook due to pressure of water, water squirts out of side of shower head as well as front, bathroom extractor does not work, sometimes had to ask for clean towels and toilet rolls, tv in room but only one channel and all Spanish, plunge pool and sun bathing area on roof was nice but not open in March, understandable. Breakfast was minimal, Bat not open but if you ask for a drink the staff would oblige. The hotel is cheap and cheerful and requires an uplift. But for a short stay I would stay again

It was cheap

The room was very basic. The bed linen and matress had stains. There were marks on the wall. On entering the room it initial smelt of disinfectant however after a short while that was replaced by a sewerage smell that continued for all the time we stayed there. We booked and paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night due to smell and conditions.

Bed comfortable.Bathroom clean and plenty of hot water.

All drawers were dirty. Towels were torn and dirty. A fridge was on top of the bedside cabinet and dirty inside. When used was very noisy also heating/ air con system was noisy. Dirty marks on walls. Room very depressing.Breakfast was very basic and un hygienic use of containers for butter and jams. Only had breakfast here twice during our stay. Had to ask for room service which comprised of just a bin being emptied. No fresh towels and no extra toilet roll which we had to ask for. When asked for clean towels were were given a bundle of torn and dirty towels.

Location

Have stayed many times, this time not so enjoyable, had to request toilet paper and soap. Normally all are available in the room.

It was low season and the owner allowed me to park my motorbike on site Great value

Air conditioning unit didn't sound very good.

The hotel is well located convenient for getting around.

The walls are very thin and noise from the other rooms vas very apparent. It is tired and old

Extremely rude staff with no English, in ten days in reception I seen only twice man who little know English. At breakfast time they give me a coffee and a toast, when asked about cheese and ham (was in description) they shouted NOOO! The room not cleaned for first 4 days, completely gone towels and toilet rolls. When asked for some additional options, trying to charge much more than on the price list. Mattrices extremely dirty, covered with clean sheets. Outside door opens only from reception, usually nobody there, long time waiting every time when back. Avoid!

Surprised price - quality - location. There is always one person at the reception. Nowadays is something extraordinary, and I appreciate it. My room is outdated but clean. Nice shower room. And quiet at night

It was a brilliant little place to stay in terms of value for money and position . If all you need is somewhere to lay your head that is clean , comfortable and near the beach but not the height of customer service or mod cons then it’s fantastic value for money !!

It’s defo in need of some TLC as it looks quite tired , but very clean . A few things that could be improved for very little money is to put a shower holder on the wall so that you don’t have to hold the shower whilst showering, a lick of paint to cover stained looking walls and most of all which doesn’t cost anything, is A SMILE from the receptionist . The lady that checked us in was perfect but the man who checked us out was very grumpy and rude !!!!!

Avoid this hotel

Staff doesn't understand English. You kust gove away keys everytime you leave premises and they don't even ask ID when you return, just pick the random key you want and get into other guest room. Breakfest is bread and smashed tomatoes (classic in Spain). Very dirty rooms, very bad soubd isolation, no money refunds, worst experience ever.

The beds were comfortable. There was a fridge which was helpful.

Glass shower cubicle was broken so a curtain had been put up.The toilet seat was broken.Our son was covered in small bites on his back, which weren't mosquito bites,in the morning after sleeping in the bed!!! Not good at all.Had it not been for the bites, we'd probably stay again,as it was just an overnight stay. However we'd definitely not stay because of this.

Good wifi signal, comfortable beds. Nice evening meals cooked to order. The staff were pleasant but language barrier was a bit of a problem, google translate came to our rescue

Only one electric socket in room so charging devices wasn't easy. Also the large cockroach in the bathroom was very ugly. We visited end of October and everywhere in the resort was closed for the winter, so don't stay here out of season as there is nothing to do. Breakfast was just toast and croissants.

Location and cleanliness and having a balcony

An older member of staff shouting at us not to do this and that and always saying 'No' 2 of the Receptionists all over each other.Biggest problem is ONLY bread is served for breakfast, some of us don't eat bread so go without

Hotel Trabuco

The shower leaked everywhere as it the water came through the door.the room smelt of stale tobacco - awful. Had to keep the window open to try to get rid of the smell.
